Chris Mdluli was born in a little town in Mpumalanga called Lydenburg (Mashishing). I
received my primary education in Mamelodi, a town that can be found in the Tshwane
district. Then I moved to Tembisa which is where I completed the final two years of
primary. i also received my secondary education in Tembisa. In my free time i like to
play Fifa and watch tv series. Big fan of stand up comedy. i love listening to hip hop,
favorite food has to be anything delicious. I enjoy teaching because it challenges me to
2. keep on expanding my knowledge boundry and it feels good to empower others with the
knowledge I have.
EXPECTATIONS
After reading the learning guide I expect to have learnt all the basic skills which are
required to operate technology that is used to teach and learn. I also expert to improve
on the skills which I already possess.
TECHNOLOGICAL ABILITY
On a scale of one to ten, with one being cluesless/beginner and ten being expert; i
would rate myself being a six. I hav the know how to surf the web, install various apps
and softwares on a computer and I even know how to run a full windows installation.
The only real trouble I have is using the full capabilities of Microsoft office.
CHALLENGES
The biggest challenge I face as a student is having access to device that I can use to do
my assignments and also full time access to the internet. Once I leave the campus I
have little or sometimes no access to the internet.
FUTURE TEACHER
I would like to be the kind of teacher who uses technolgy to enhabce the learning
experiences. I want the pupils to see how the river moves just after I have finished
explaining it to them. I want to inspire learners to imbrace technolgy as a tool that helps
them learn better, that technolgy can be used for more than just entertainment.
3. REASON FOR WAKING UP
The reason I wake up every morning is because I want to achieve the things that I was
not able to achieve in the past. Striving for greatness each and every single day, time
waits for no man.
