The real me
I am a simple guy from Tembisa who
enjoys his own company. I get
uncomfortable when there are a lot of people around me, because I hardly speak.
Solomzi Nomvethe is an ambitious individual, I fight for what I believe in and I never
give up. Lastly, I enjoy playing and watching football.
What are your expectations for this course?
I personally expect this course to be fun but yet challenging because it is online. The
course will teach me how to use technology, furthermore the course will teach me how
to integrate technology in my lessons as a teacher. I literally cannot wait to interact
with my classmates online and the lecturer. As a student you are in charge of your
learning and there is no pressure. It does not get better than this.
Current technological ability
I enrolled at this institution 2016 and I have never experienced problems, when it
comes to using technology I am able to submit my work on blackboard and write online
tests without any difficulties. When we are required to do micro-lessons using online
assessments/tools for our respective majors, I have never experience any problems.
Therefore, I am technologically inclined. However, there is always a room for learning
new tricks.
My biggest challenge as a student
My biggest challenge as a student is that I spend too much time on the student lifestyle
rather than the academic lifestyle.
What kind of educator do you want to be?

I want to be an educator that is patient with the learners and also flexible. I will be that
educator who’s patient with his learners, furthermore I want to be an inspiration and a
motivation to them. I want learners to feel safe around me.
What makes you get up in the morning?
I want to give my son the best life, he’s the reason I wake up in the morning and go do
my best.
