Your favourite world city: Students work in groups and tell each other about their
favourite city in the world.

Materials needed: None
Time: 20 mins
Procedure:
1. Quickly ask students to brainstorm different famous or big cities all over the world.
2. Now ask them the question: Which city do you like most? Ask them to think
individually and make some notes.
3. When they have finished, tell them to work in groups of 4 or 5 and tell each other.
Other group members can ask questions to know more about that city.
4. Go round the class to monitor and help. Please also make some notes about the
language students are using for the feedback session.
5. Feedback: ask the groups whether any group members like the same city and
which city they would love to live in.
6. Highlight some errors and corrections .
