My Favorite Summer Vacation
"Here's to a vacation of no regrets!" quoted by Joan Rylen, meaning dreaming and then living your dreams you are not discovering the meaning of
your life, it will be a wasted life. My favorite summer vacation was when my father took me to Haiti Les Cayes Sud. It was one of the most
memorable experiences of my life. The fact that it was my very first time being on an airplane. I cannot recall a time in my life when I experienced so
much joy. That trip toHaiti was the very first time my father and I did something together, just the two of us and was something brought me close to
my father. I will tell you about my plane ride there, what I did when I got there, and my day at Les Cayes Sud. At first, I can still picture how excited I
was before the plane take off. It felt like forever while waiting on the caller to announce the airplane had arrived. All the expectation that was inside
of me made the wait even longer for. As the caller announced in the airport to get on the airplane because it will be leaving soon. I was high as a
kite. Before I knew it, I heard the pilot say prepare for the take off. When I heard those words, I couldn't contain myself. While the plane was taking
off weren't allowed to take off our seat belts, or moving from our seats to go use the restrooms. The served us a stick white cheese, crackers, a snicker
bar, some chips, and a glass of apple juice. The plane ride was about two and a half hours long and I enjoyed every bit of it. Unexpectedly, that

Personal Narrative : My Favorite Vacation
Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something
cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I
have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my
grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the
most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a
ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in thehotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks.
My favorite vacation, so far, is one I went on in September 2015 with my friends Alissa and Jaidah. We all share fandom interests. On the weekend
of September 19, my brother went away to spend his birthday with my dad. My mom shook me awake and informed me I could bring two friends
along to a room in the Dells that we would be occupying. Almost immediately I thought of the duo. I ran downstairs and texted both of them while
packing a bag. They texted back not too long after, and I told them my mom and I would pick them up anywhere from 10–11 that Saturday morning.
We picked up Alissa and she tried to direct us to Jaidah's house, but she wasn't thorough with her

My favorite vacation was when I went on a road trip to New Jersey with my family. First, we drove about eight hours to Wisconsin Dells, and we
stayed there for one night. We stayed at the Kalahari resort where there were many enjoyable activities. Some of them include laser tag, water
parks, rock wall climbing, mini golf, and so much more. Afterward, we drove about nine hours to Cedar Point, Ohio. At Cedar point we stayed at a
hotel right on the beach of Lake Erie, which was walking distance from the Cedar Point amusement park, which included the fastest roller coaster
in the world inside. So, the next day we arose very early to get in line to get into the park. The line took about an hour to go through because there
was an abounding amount of people, but it was worth it. As a result of waiting in line, the rides were so enjoyable and felt absolutely amazing.
After about five hours at the amusement park, we went back to the hotel because we were all getting tired. We rested for about 30 minutes until
my siblings and I decided to go swimming in the lake. It was a very hot day so it was nice to get in the chilly, refreshing water. We swam for an
hour or so, and then we ate dinner. After that, we went back to the park. It was more pleasant at night since there were fewer people in the park, and
it also wasn't as hot compared to during the day. From there on, we went back to the hotel and got an excellent night's sleep, and we to get up very
early the next day. Then, early the

My Favorite Vacation Destination
My favorite vacation spot is the gorgeous island of St. Thomas, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I have been there ten times and every time has
affected my senses in different ways. Each year that I have gone, I have discovered something new that makes me never want to leave. The people,
food, and culture are all so unique because I do not witness it on an every day basis. In the islands there are sights, sounds, and smells that let me
know I am away from home relaxing and enjoying vacation with family. When we first get to St. Thomas and are ready to finally get off the
airplane, it is not like a normal airplane where we walk through a tunnel to get to the airport. We get to do this really cool thing where we walk
down a set of portable stairs to get off of the airplane and then walk to the airport. It almost feels like I am in a dream with the harsh winds from the
propeller blowing against my face and making my hair a big, crazy mess. When I look to the left all I can see is the bright, crystal clear Caribbean
water. On the right, there are tons of beautifully built houses all along the green mountains. Getting off the airplane and seeing these sights get me
excited knowing that a thrilling vacation has started. I have never heard of this anywhere else other than St. Thomas, but when people are driving
and they want to say thank you, they honk at you. For example, if someone lets us over, into their lane, we would honk at them to say thank you.
Another sound that I enjoy hearing in the islands are the soft waves crashing against the massive rocks. Watching and listening to the waves
crashing along the shoreline is so soothing. As I lay on my chair in the sand I hear the shells hitting against each other as the waves pull them back
into the deep, blue ocean. Behind me, I hear the loud sound of the locals chopping up coconuts with huge, terrifying machetes ready to sell to the
tourists. The resort we stay at has a perfect view of the ocean where the cruise ships port. Each year, a few nights out of the week cruise ships leave
the port and we always like to go out on our balcony and listen to the captain blare the powerful horn letting people know that the ship is leaving soon.
Once I am back home, I miss

My Favorite Vacation
This time last year, I went to the Cape Coral Coconut Festival, A festival held yearly in the large lot next to Sun Splash Family Waterpark, a local's
hotspot every summer with guaranteed long lines and a densely packed lazy river. Everyone in my family was thrilled, my little brother and sister
bouncing up and down on the seats of our family minivan, while my mom attempted to drive to the festival, amidst ear–piercing shrieks, constantly
reminding them to calm down. I too was excited, peering up at the brightly colored lights that stretched all the way to the sky. As we pulled into
the lot, the rides seemed to loom above, the thought of riding them put a knot in my throat and made my stomach do backflips. We all burst out of
the car, walking hand in hand, my little brother (5), my little sister (3), my Mom, my Dad, my grandma, and I. We all rode a few rides to satisfy
the little ones, the ladybug ride, and then the merry go round. Shortly after, we passed by a large ride, where flashing lights and pounding music
assaulted my senses. It was so much to take in, I figured out the ride was cars connected in a ring on a track that first jolted riders forward before
having them disappear in a tube and having them reappear on the other side. Once the ride finally slowed down and then lurched to a stop, the DJ
taunted as the cars began to fly in reverse. It all looked very menacing. "Do you want to ride that? It was my favorite when I was your age," My mom
asked. "No

One of my favorite vacations We were all watching tv there was a football game on. My dad got up and asked Graham, Dallas and I to go in to
Graham's room. He told us that us three we're going to colorado if we didn't have anything important going on. None of us thought we had
anything but it turns out that Dallas, who's a sophomore in high school, had too many test going on so that meant Dallas wasn't going. We were
all pretty bummed but not enough to not go. Graham started packing right away. I didn't pack till last minute, that may have been a mistake. When
school ended Dallas picked us up and I raced up stairs packing as fast as I could. In about an hour we had everything in the car and ready to go. We
were off to colorado. Me and Graham were sitting in the back while our dad sat in the front. Our dad then gave us two options we could go straight
to colorado or stay in a hotel. We all decided it was best to stay at a hotel by the time we got there it was almost 10 o'clock. We stopped at a hotel in
Ellis Kansas. They had a pool and a hot tub just our luck it felt so good on our sore legs. Then we went straight to bed in surprised all of us how
quickly we fell asleep. The next morning we ate breakfast there and continued to our destination. We had eight more hours me and my brother fell
asleep for most of it we woke up just before we entered the mountains. There wasn't really any snow so we were all a little worried that we wouldn't
be able to go on the mountain. We

My Vacation Essay
My mom, my brother, and I decided we wanted to go on vacation. It was our first family vacation and we decided we wanted to go to Florida, where
we used to live. My mom has a friend named Gigi who lives in Tampa, Florida and she said we could stay at her house for that week.
My mom got home from work about 11:00 p.m. and told me and my brother that we could leave in the morning so we went to bed. It was about
midnight when we realized none of us could sleep and we were all packed so we packed everything in the car.We left the house about 12:30 a.m.
My brother was the first one to drive but he only drove for about thirty to forty minutes and he was tired. I was the only one wide awake so I drove
for a while and when the sun started coming up my mom woke up. My mom offered to drive, but I drove a little bit longer until the sun was
completely up. My mom and I switched and I slept while she drove and then my brother woke up and drove for a little bit, we kept switching the
whole way down. Finally we made it to Tampa, Florida and my mom drove the rest of the way.
My moms friend, Fred, was bringing his kids down to Florida too. A couple days before Fred got down there we spent some time with Gigi and her
son, Kearon. We went to Clearwater and Treasure Island and we stayed at a hotel and we walked across the street to the beach. We went to the gift
shop stores that were down by the beach, some were big and some were small. I bought a shot glasses that I thought was really cool

My Favorite Vacation
My family and I are huge believers that a good vacation or trip can allow a family to bond in numerous ways. My all–time favorite vacation would
have to be Spring break in the Bahamas, just kidding, we aren't packing that much money. My actual favorite vacation was Spring break of 2017 in
Myrtle, Mississippi, at a little cabin called Walshtown Retreat. Thetrip there, staying there, and returning home is something I will never forget. For
most families, the trip to their vacation spot is just a long, irritable trip. This is not the case for us. For my family of nine, packing is always the most
nerve–racking. We always have to take two vehicles, both of which are filled to the brim with luggage and other things. My father, my brother, and
myself rode in my father's truck, while my mother and all the kids rode in her truck. The ride there is always the best. My mother prefers to keep her
truck quiet, while my father loves to have the radio on and constant conversation. We do not realize it, but often times we let work, school, and life
in general get in the way of even having a small conversation. So, these trips are held dear to my heart. My father is a giant country music fan, so
that is all we listen to. On the drive to the cabin, every time a song he liked would come on he would say, "Oh man, this is my jam," and my brother
and I would just crack up. Trips to vacation are always filled with a multitude of jokes and laughter always ensues.
When we finally arrived, my

What Is My Favorite Vacation Place Essay
Tawas
Sometimes getting away from your home for a vacation is much needed for the mind and soul. For me, my favorite vacation place is the beautiful
tourist city of Tawas, Michigan. My first exciting visit to Tawas was when I was ten years old. Since then, it has been an annual family trip. My
favorite place in the city of Tawas is my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Danny's cabin that overlooks Lake Huron. They kindly allow us to stay there each
summer. The creaking floors and squeaky swing on the lakefront gives it special qualities to show the years of love families have experienced there. I
have many treasured memories at this special location. It bring smells, feelings, thoughts, and emotions that are just what I need to refresh my mind and
soul. Over the years, Tawas has become my favorite summer location because of the beautiful sites of the lake, the soothing sounds of the water, the old
cabin, and the fun memories.
My favorite memory at Tawas is the long jet ski ride to a small island just off the tip of the bay. It has a very old small white lighthouse and a sandy
beach. Other treasured memories in Tawas include nightly fires where myfamily sits around in lawn chairs and makes S'mores with...show more

This feeling of peace, quiet, and nature is exactly what I enjoy about this special vacation place. I have quickly grown attached to the traditional
old brown log cabin in the past eight years. I like the traditional build of old logs, a stone fireplace, and two big windows overlooking the lake. As I
enter the cabin I can hear the creaking of the old original hardwood floor. It catches my eye with the scratches and dents that give it character. My
nose is tickled by the sweet smell of an old musty cabin and campfire. I can feel the unique stress that the wooden walls have experienced over the
years. My mom says, "If these walls could speak image what the stories they could

My Favorite Vacation In The Philippines
The Philippines isn't a very common vacation spot for most people, but that makes Mindanao, the Philippines so much better having experienced
something most people haven't. There are many things that people can't see going to places like Florida, but Mindanao has magnificent beaches and
islands not too far away. Mindanao has some important facts like many small islands make up just the one island of Mindanao. The beaches near the
islands of Hinatuan are gorgeous and very relaxing, taking the crazy lives that were left behind while taking a vacation. The beaches are crystal clear
as if they're in a magical place. Mindanao has everything someone would want to see while going on vacation mountains, beaches, and volcanoes just
an all–around paradise. The official language of the Philippines is Filipino but the second language here is English. English is typically every
country's second language, what makes this place different about having English is the second language is that if they are in college or have a
degree they, phillipines will be able to speak fluent English. This is because the college professors speak in English to teach. Everyone who lives in
the Philippines is called Filipinos, most of them have a religion of roman catholic and that's around eighty percent of the population and five percent of
the population is Muslim. The people who live in the Philippines have beautiful places to see ("Ethnicity"). The Enchanted River,is located by the
island of Hinatuan.

My Favorite Family Vacation Spot
As soon as I got of the plane and breathed in that City air I new my life would change for the better. I was waiting for this day for the past several
months. It was the first time I would go with my father and brothers on their "Boys Only Vacation". I was thrilled at the fact that they would finally let
me tag along with them. This year they decided to go to Washington D.C. I had never been to D.C before, and what made it even better was the fact
that around the time we would arrive it would be snowing. It was my first time ever seeing snow with my naked eye. So when the time came we
headed out to Tampa International Airport. We checked our bags, went threw security and waiting in line before entering the aircraft. It was about
a 2 hour flight before we arrived in the place that now has my heart till the day I die. As soon as we stepped out the Airport my eyes were widened
by the site of seeing snow for the first time. The snow felt as if it was made out of a snow cone machine. The sound of my feet stomping in the
snow like stepping on packing peanuts is the sound that I will listen to for hours. After about a quarter of a mile walk we got to the subway station
where for the first time I experienced how busy big cities can be. We got our cards and headed downstairs to where the subway trains were. The
sound of a jazz musician playing Duke Ellington's "Rhapsody in Blue" made me want to give the man all the money in my pocket but sadly I
couldn't. There was also the smell of chili cheese dogs that the people next to us were trying to scarf down before the train arrived. Finally it
arrived and this was my first time on a subway car. The feeling of my butt on the rough "cushioned" chairs wasn't the best feeling in the world. The
sight on many people from Jamaican to Irish was one that I haven't seen in such a small compacted space. I could also see the sight of Jefferson
Memorial and the Potomac River as we passed them was breathtaking. We passed a few other sights such as the Washington Monument, The Lincoln
Memorial and the WW2 Memorial. As we walked off the train we could hear the conductor giving everyone safety instructions and telling them to step
away from the doors.

Last spring, my family and I took a trip to Maui. Everyone had a good time, and those people consisted of me, my husband, my parents, my
grandma, my three uncles, my two sisters, and my two brothers. We wanted to choose a place that will be family friendly with a lot of sceneries,
and activities to do. Due to my grandma being in ICU for a whole month back in August 2016, and given an estimated time of living, we wanted a
place that will allow us to explore, spend time together, and make wonderful memories to look back on. We all agreed on Maui. Maui is a great choice

One of my favorite is the ABC store. That's where I bought all my souvenirs, Hawaiian dresses, and snacks. A nearby restaurant that we all enjoyed
was Aloha Mixed Plates. It looks like a little turquoise shack, but as we walked up to it, we can smell the grilled teriyaki chicken and stir–fry yakisoba
noodles. With the ukulele playing in the background and eating outside with the view of surfers in the ocean, it gave me a sense of what the island
feels like. Afterwards, we went to check out the Lahaina Heritage Museum that offers a fascinating show case of the Hawaiian history, and is free to
the public. Lahaina Restoration states "Lahaina Heritage Museum offers visitors a comprehensive, interactive look at the rich and varied history of
Lahaina from pre–contact Hawai'i to the Monarchy era, including the missionary and whaling period, and from the Plantation era to early tourism"
(Lahaina Restoration Foundation). We saw a lot of unremarkable artwork, such as 3d models of the island, a courthouse that used to be the palace for
the king back in the 1800s, and a 60 ft. tall banyan tree planted outside of the museum that we took great family photos in front of. After exploring
Front Street, we booked a few family excursions.
Maui has excursions that gave my family and I a great experience. On a bright sunny afternoon, we got onto a big white cruise boat where it took us
out snorkeling in the middle of the calm part of the ocean. While snorkeling,

My Favorite Family Vacation
Have you ever been on a favorite family vacation? I have, and my favorite family vacation is when I went Wisconsin and Illinois to see my niece
Karina, my step sister Missy, my Aunt Rena and Uncle Tommy. Before we left we had a lot to do my parents took our dogs to this ladies house that
was taking care of our dogs while we was gone. Next my parents drop my brother and I off at my grandparents house to visit them before we left while
they picked up the car we are going to drive. It took forever to leave but we finally did.
First thing we did was go to Wisconsin to see my niece and my step sister. It took nine hours to get there and on the way we stopped in Chicago.
There was a little mall over the road it was really cool it had everything the a mall it even had a little park and a argade room. When we finally got
Wisconsin, they greeted us and let us in the apartment. Soon after we arrived, we had dinner together and to my surprise, it was tacos, which is my
favorite. After dinner my niece and I was in the room that me and my family was staying in, by are self I gave her my gift for her. It was a locket
necklace she loved it, but she could not wear it because it has a gold chain because it makes her break out but now she can because she has a silver
chain. The next day we had planned to have a fun day at the lake, but it rained so we just went to go see the lake. We walked around the park around
the lake we saw a lighthouse, there was a rock bridge and a little island

My Favorite Vacation
Vacation is time for one to relax and enjoy themselves when they are free from routine activities. It is the time when one evades the stress that
comes from daily activities and relaxes their body and mind. For a vacation, one needs a place where the environment is conducive for relaxation.
The environment needs to be silent and serene. The weather also needs to be enjoyable and the people friendly. A vacation zone needs to be
somewhere where the air is clean away from the towns where the air has been polluted by vehicle exhaust fumes and factory gases and smoke. The
serenity and peace and the feeling of cool air blowing over your body is one of the most enjoyable things for a vacation. The beach is my favorite
vacation location. At the beach, there is calmness that can rarely be found in any other place. The beach, I can say, is the most relaxing and
beautiful places. There are also some few adventures and this makes the beach all the more admirable and a spectacular place. The freshness and
the smell of salt make the feeling so enjoyable that all you want to do is sit there and enjoy the scents fir a long time. The beach gives you an
opportunity to be amused by some of the things that seem to be too small in life. The fact that the beach allows you to appreciate these small things
is one of the major reasons why I consider it to be my best vacation location. The beach gives one a sense of mystery and adventure. There is a large
number of creatures that live in the sea

Personal Essay : My Favorite Vacation
My Vacation
This will be my story on my favorite vacation. This vacation was my most recent one in which i went on a cruise. A cruise is taking a ship to other
destinations throughout the world. The cruise That i was on Went to 3 different islands. The following will be why this cruise was my favorite
vacation ive ever been on.
The first place we went to was Florida. We flew down to florida in order to board the ship but we got 1 night before we boarded the ship. Usually
when we go down to florida the night before the cruise we end up going to a nice restaurant and this restaurant was especially fancy. When we first got
there we got to our hotel and then walked around to find a nice place to eat. This particular steak house was unlike anything i've ever been in before.
We walked up to the front and read a sign said "formal attire only" but we were in shorts and t shirts. As we were reading it the owner of the
restaurant came out and welcomed us inside. We get inside they sit us down in this beautiful circular booth. They came and served us water and
brought out a platter with an array of vegetables and fruits. Cucumbers, Oranges, Etc. Multiple servers would walk by and make sure we were
fine, Service like ive never experienced before. This food was NOT cheap at all we did not expect it from the restaurant. I ordered a lobster bisque
to start off and it was the most fantastic soup i've ever had in my life. After that i ordered a steak gorgonzola and that was absolutely phenomenal.
The store owner was very polite and he himself came around to check on us and see how we were doing. By far the most memorable restaurant i've
ever been to. Then we went home and went to bed to get ready for the cruise in the morning. We woke up at 5 am When it was pouring rain to get on the
cruise ship the ship was absolutely phenomenal. I'll get into that at a later time. The first Island we went to is called Grand Turk In Turks and Caicos.
Now this island we have already gone to previously so we knew what we were gonna do there. The second we got off the ship we took a half a mile
walk down the beach to this place called "Jack's Shack" where they serve THE BEST Jerked chicken and play music and serve drinks to you while you

Narrative Essay About Summer Vacation
Summer Vacation
Do you know the reason why we have summer vacation? I believe that summer vacation is not just about sleeping in and appreciating the time off, it
includes spending time with your close friends and family, and that is exactly what I did this summer break. There were many fascinating things I did
this summer and in this essay I will tell you a few of things I enjoyed doing.
Spending time with close relatives and is exactly what I did to kickoff my summer even though massive amount of them lived out of the state Indiana
going to Seattle, Mexico, Texas, and Virginia. Somehow we accomplished the task to see my whopping 275family members only on my mom's side,

For that rest of the day we went to a restaurant called Puckett's and apparently it is right down the road from Justin Timberlake's recording studio
/private house, All of the kids including me went to his front and touched his door knob and I might of took a sneak peek inside his house. The last
day we were there we visited a beautiful waterfall, even though it was a lovely site the water part was very deadly. The reason why it was deadly
was there were big boulders everywhere you stepped, and there were water moccasins which are venomous snakes that lurked around in the water.
When it was time to live the waterfall a water moccasin was about 20 feet in front of me and my friends, thankfully another guy ran into the water
scaring the snake away making it safe for me and my buddies to get out. Honestly out of the whole entire summer this had to be my favorite vacation.
This next vacation isn't really a vacation it's more of an event but it was fun, hilarious, and relaxing like a vacation. After Tennessee we went seven
days later we went to Detroit, Michigan for this thing called a muck fest. A muck fest is 5k with muddy obstacles that you run into on your way to
the finish line. The race only lasted 2 hours for my mom, dad, and other family members to finish. The best part was when I was able to do the last
three obstacles and get

The best trip I have ever went on was when I went on my family vacation to Orlando, Florida. We went as a huge family, as in my dad's side of the
family, I went with my grandma my grandpa my aunt and uncle my two cousins my mom and my dad and my two sisters and a brother, only to
meet up with more family. We had went in the middle of June and were going for a week, we took a plane there and back and stayed at a hotel for a
day or two. My family and I went up to Orlando for a couple days and then we drove to Miami, Florida to see my cousins because they used to live up

The next morning we were sleeping in because we were so terribly tired, but our cousins woke us up. And we havn't seen them in four years since
that trip and there my best friends. We spent our first day swimming and getting used to each other, for the rest of the days we were signed up for
beach camp with our cousins, that's where you would surf and swim and tube and see new animals and learn spanish and meet new friends. And
then after that we would swim more and fish and take pictures. My favorite part of the trip was going to my first NBA game. It was the highlight
because I got to meet the teammates from Miami Heat and we were part of the family room so we got to eat fancy food and play basketball and
just have fun. The funniest part of that night was I was walking by the court and they were announcing the player and I was standing on this circle
and all of a sudden flame is shooting out behind and I look down and I was like 'oh, shoot' and jumped off of it before it went up in flames, It was very
scary. That was the best trip I went on, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I

Earlier this year I went on a vacation to Washington. Now this wasn't any normal vacation to Washington mainly because we normally go by plane
but this time we went by car, with two dogs. I was very excited mainly because the rest of my family was living up there. I had to wake up in the
middle of summer at 5:00 am! once I was up I had decided to slowly walk around and start to get ready for the vacation once we all piled into the
car, me, my grandma, grandpa, brother, and the two dogs Grizz (that is how we spelled his name) and Panda. once we were on the road I fell
asleep almost right away so I don't know what had happened. once I was awake we were in a new state we were in Utah and I was surprised to
find out that we were on the road for a hour already! I wasn't very tired after that so I decided to stay awake and play on my phone. We went the
longer way to washington and that wasn't the most exciting thing to hear.I didn't pay very much attention to Utah mainly because I was on my
phone for most of Utah. I had wondered why we took the longer way to Washington but I didn't ask because I always had a 20 pound dog sitting on
my lap. (and if you think I am over exaggerating about the weight I am not he weighs like 20 pounds) We then continued to drive until we arrived at
Nevada. I would repeatedly asked, ''Are we there yet?'' I continued, ''what about now? My Grandma and Grandpa would respond, ''Not yet! Trevin just
wait! We are almost to the hotel!'' Once we

My Favorite Summer Vacation

  • 1. My Favorite Summer Vacation "Here's to a vacation of no regrets!" quoted by Joan Rylen, meaning dreaming and then living your dreams you are not discovering the meaning of your life, it will be a wasted life. My favorite summer vacation was when my father took me to Haiti Les Cayes Sud. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The fact that it was my very first time being on an airplane. I cannot recall a time in my life when I experienced so much joy. That trip toHaiti was the very first time my father and I did something together, just the two of us and was something brought me close to my father. I will tell you about my plane ride there, what I did when I got there, and my day at Les Cayes Sud. At first, I can still picture how excited I was before the plane take off. It felt like forever while waiting on the caller to announce the airplane had arrived. All the expectation that was inside of me made the wait even longer for. As the caller announced in the airport to get on the airplane because it will be leaving soon. I was high as a kite. Before I knew it, I heard the pilot say prepare for the take off. When I heard those words, I couldn't contain myself. While the plane was taking off weren't allowed to take off our seat belts, or moving from our seats to go use the restrooms. The served us a stick white cheese, crackers, a snicker bar, some chips, and a glass of apple juice. The plane ride was about two and a half hours long and I enjoyed every bit of it. Unexpectedly, that Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Personal Narrative : My Favorite Vacation Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in thehotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks. My favorite vacation, so far, is one I went on in September 2015 with my friends Alissa and Jaidah. We all share fandom interests. On the weekend of September 19, my brother went away to spend his birthday with my dad. My mom shook me awake and informed me I could bring two friends along to a room in the Dells that we would be occupying. Almost immediately I thought of the duo. I ran downstairs and texted both of them while packing a bag. They texted back not too long after, and I told them my mom and I would pick them up anywhere from 10–11 that Saturday morning. We picked up Alissa and she tried to direct us to Jaidah's house, but she wasn't thorough with her Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My favorite vacation was when I went on a road trip to New Jersey with my family. First, we drove about eight hours to Wisconsin Dells, and we stayed there for one night. We stayed at the Kalahari resort where there were many enjoyable activities. Some of them include laser tag, water parks, rock wall climbing, mini golf, and so much more. Afterward, we drove about nine hours to Cedar Point, Ohio. At Cedar point we stayed at a hotel right on the beach of Lake Erie, which was walking distance from the Cedar Point amusement park, which included the fastest roller coaster in the world inside. So, the next day we arose very early to get in line to get into the park. The line took about an hour to go through because there was an abounding amount of people, but it was worth it. As a result of waiting in line, the rides were so enjoyable and felt absolutely amazing. After about five hours at the amusement park, we went back to the hotel because we were all getting tired. We rested for about 30 minutes until my siblings and I decided to go swimming in the lake. It was a very hot day so it was nice to get in the chilly, refreshing water. We swam for an hour or so, and then we ate dinner. After that, we went back to the park. It was more pleasant at night since there were fewer people in the park, and it also wasn't as hot compared to during the day. From there on, we went back to the hotel and got an excellent night's sleep, and we to get up very early the next day. Then, early the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Favorite Vacation Destination My favorite vacation spot is the gorgeous island of St. Thomas, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I have been there ten times and every time has affected my senses in different ways. Each year that I have gone, I have discovered something new that makes me never want to leave. The people, food, and culture are all so unique because I do not witness it on an every day basis. In the islands there are sights, sounds, and smells that let me know I am away from home relaxing and enjoying vacation with family. When we first get to St. Thomas and are ready to finally get off the airplane, it is not like a normal airplane where we walk through a tunnel to get to the airport. We get to do this really cool thing where we walk down a set of portable stairs to get off of the airplane and then walk to the airport. It almost feels like I am in a dream with the harsh winds from the propeller blowing against my face and making my hair a big, crazy mess. When I look to the left all I can see is the bright, crystal clear Caribbean water. On the right, there are tons of beautifully built houses all along the green mountains. Getting off the airplane and seeing these sights get me excited knowing that a thrilling vacation has started. I have never heard of this anywhere else other than St. Thomas, but when people are driving and they want to say thank you, they honk at you. For example, if someone lets us over, into their lane, we would honk at them to say thank you. Another sound that I enjoy hearing in the islands are the soft waves crashing against the massive rocks. Watching and listening to the waves crashing along the shoreline is so soothing. As I lay on my chair in the sand I hear the shells hitting against each other as the waves pull them back into the deep, blue ocean. Behind me, I hear the loud sound of the locals chopping up coconuts with huge, terrifying machetes ready to sell to the tourists. The resort we stay at has a perfect view of the ocean where the cruise ships port. Each year, a few nights out of the week cruise ships leave the port and we always like to go out on our balcony and listen to the captain blare the powerful horn letting people know that the ship is leaving soon. Once I am back home, I miss Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Favorite Vacation This time last year, I went to the Cape Coral Coconut Festival, A festival held yearly in the large lot next to Sun Splash Family Waterpark, a local's hotspot every summer with guaranteed long lines and a densely packed lazy river. Everyone in my family was thrilled, my little brother and sister bouncing up and down on the seats of our family minivan, while my mom attempted to drive to the festival, amidst ear–piercing shrieks, constantly reminding them to calm down. I too was excited, peering up at the brightly colored lights that stretched all the way to the sky. As we pulled into the lot, the rides seemed to loom above, the thought of riding them put a knot in my throat and made my stomach do backflips. We all burst out of the car, walking hand in hand, my little brother (5), my little sister (3), my Mom, my Dad, my grandma, and I. We all rode a few rides to satisfy the little ones, the ladybug ride, and then the merry go round. Shortly after, we passed by a large ride, where flashing lights and pounding music assaulted my senses. It was so much to take in, I figured out the ride was cars connected in a ring on a track that first jolted riders forward before having them disappear in a tube and having them reappear on the other side. Once the ride finally slowed down and then lurched to a stop, the DJ taunted as the cars began to fly in reverse. It all looked very menacing. "Do you want to ride that? It was my favorite when I was your age," My mom asked. "No Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My Favorite Vacation Essay One of my favorite vacations We were all watching tv there was a football game on. My dad got up and asked Graham, Dallas and I to go in to Graham's room. He told us that us three we're going to colorado if we didn't have anything important going on. None of us thought we had anything but it turns out that Dallas, who's a sophomore in high school, had too many test going on so that meant Dallas wasn't going. We were all pretty bummed but not enough to not go. Graham started packing right away. I didn't pack till last minute, that may have been a mistake. When school ended Dallas picked us up and I raced up stairs packing as fast as I could. In about an hour we had everything in the car and ready to go. We were off to colorado. Me and Graham were sitting in the back while our dad sat in the front. Our dad then gave us two options we could go straight to colorado or stay in a hotel. We all decided it was best to stay at a hotel by the time we got there it was almost 10 o'clock. We stopped at a hotel in Ellis Kansas. They had a pool and a hot tub just our luck it felt so good on our sore legs. Then we went straight to bed in surprised all of us how quickly we fell asleep. The next morning we ate breakfast there and continued to our destination. We had eight more hours me and my brother fell asleep for most of it we woke up just before we entered the mountains. There wasn't really any snow so we were all a little worried that we wouldn't be able to go on the mountain. We Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My Vacation Essay My mom, my brother, and I decided we wanted to go on vacation. It was our first family vacation and we decided we wanted to go to Florida, where we used to live. My mom has a friend named Gigi who lives in Tampa, Florida and she said we could stay at her house for that week. My mom got home from work about 11:00 p.m. and told me and my brother that we could leave in the morning so we went to bed. It was about midnight when we realized none of us could sleep and we were all packed so we packed everything in the car.We left the house about 12:30 a.m. My brother was the first one to drive but he only drove for about thirty to forty minutes and he was tired. I was the only one wide awake so I drove for a while and when the sun started coming up my mom woke up. My mom offered to drive, but I drove a little bit longer until the sun was completely up. My mom and I switched and I slept while she drove and then my brother woke up and drove for a little bit, we kept switching the whole way down. Finally we made it to Tampa, Florida and my mom drove the rest of the way. My moms friend, Fred, was bringing his kids down to Florida too. A couple days before Fred got down there we spent some time with Gigi and her son, Kearon. We went to Clearwater and Treasure Island and we stayed at a hotel and we walked across the street to the beach. We went to the gift shop stores that were down by the beach, some were big and some were small. I bought a shot glasses that I thought was really cool Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My Favorite Vacation My family and I are huge believers that a good vacation or trip can allow a family to bond in numerous ways. My all–time favorite vacation would have to be Spring break in the Bahamas, just kidding, we aren't packing that much money. My actual favorite vacation was Spring break of 2017 in Myrtle, Mississippi, at a little cabin called Walshtown Retreat. Thetrip there, staying there, and returning home is something I will never forget. For most families, the trip to their vacation spot is just a long, irritable trip. This is not the case for us. For my family of nine, packing is always the most nerve–racking. We always have to take two vehicles, both of which are filled to the brim with luggage and other things. My father, my brother, and myself rode in my father's truck, while my mother and all the kids rode in her truck. The ride there is always the best. My mother prefers to keep her truck quiet, while my father loves to have the radio on and constant conversation. We do not realize it, but often times we let work, school, and life in general get in the way of even having a small conversation. So, these trips are held dear to my heart. My father is a giant country music fan, so that is all we listen to. On the drive to the cabin, every time a song he liked would come on he would say, "Oh man, this is my jam," and my brother and I would just crack up. Trips to vacation are always filled with a multitude of jokes and laughter always ensues. When we finally arrived, my Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. What Is My Favorite Vacation Place Essay Tawas Sometimes getting away from your home for a vacation is much needed for the mind and soul. For me, my favorite vacation place is the beautiful tourist city of Tawas, Michigan. My first exciting visit to Tawas was when I was ten years old. Since then, it has been an annual family trip. My favorite place in the city of Tawas is my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Danny's cabin that overlooks Lake Huron. They kindly allow us to stay there each summer. The creaking floors and squeaky swing on the lakefront gives it special qualities to show the years of love families have experienced there. I have many treasured memories at this special location. It bring smells, feelings, thoughts, and emotions that are just what I need to refresh my mind and soul. Over the years, Tawas has become my favorite summer location because of the beautiful sites of the lake, the soothing sounds of the water, the old cabin, and the fun memories. My favorite memory at Tawas is the long jet ski ride to a small island just off the tip of the bay. It has a very old small white lighthouse and a sandy beach. Other treasured memories in Tawas include nightly fires where myfamily sits around in lawn chairs and makes S'mores with...show more content... This feeling of peace, quiet, and nature is exactly what I enjoy about this special vacation place. I have quickly grown attached to the traditional old brown log cabin in the past eight years. I like the traditional build of old logs, a stone fireplace, and two big windows overlooking the lake. As I enter the cabin I can hear the creaking of the old original hardwood floor. It catches my eye with the scratches and dents that give it character. My nose is tickled by the sweet smell of an old musty cabin and campfire. I can feel the unique stress that the wooden walls have experienced over the years. My mom says, "If these walls could speak image what the stories they could Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. My Favorite Vacation In The Philippines The Philippines isn't a very common vacation spot for most people, but that makes Mindanao, the Philippines so much better having experienced something most people haven't. There are many things that people can't see going to places like Florida, but Mindanao has magnificent beaches and islands not too far away. Mindanao has some important facts like many small islands make up just the one island of Mindanao. The beaches near the islands of Hinatuan are gorgeous and very relaxing, taking the crazy lives that were left behind while taking a vacation. The beaches are crystal clear as if they're in a magical place. Mindanao has everything someone would want to see while going on vacation mountains, beaches, and volcanoes just an all–around paradise. The official language of the Philippines is Filipino but the second language here is English. English is typically every country's second language, what makes this place different about having English is the second language is that if they are in college or have a degree they, phillipines will be able to speak fluent English. This is because the college professors speak in English to teach. Everyone who lives in the Philippines is called Filipinos, most of them have a religion of roman catholic and that's around eighty percent of the population and five percent of the population is Muslim. The people who live in the Philippines have beautiful places to see ("Ethnicity"). The Enchanted River,is located by the island of Hinatuan. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. My Favorite Vacation Spot My Favorite Family Vacation Spot As soon as I got of the plane and breathed in that City air I new my life would change for the better. I was waiting for this day for the past several months. It was the first time I would go with my father and brothers on their "Boys Only Vacation". I was thrilled at the fact that they would finally let me tag along with them. This year they decided to go to Washington D.C. I had never been to D.C before, and what made it even better was the fact that around the time we would arrive it would be snowing. It was my first time ever seeing snow with my naked eye. So when the time came we headed out to Tampa International Airport. We checked our bags, went threw security and waiting in line before entering the aircraft. It was about a 2 hour flight before we arrived in the place that now has my heart till the day I die. As soon as we stepped out the Airport my eyes were widened by the site of seeing snow for the first time. The snow felt as if it was made out of a snow cone machine. The sound of my feet stomping in the snow like stepping on packing peanuts is the sound that I will listen to for hours. After about a quarter of a mile walk we got to the subway station where for the first time I experienced how busy big cities can be. We got our cards and headed downstairs to where the subway trains were. The sound of a jazz musician playing Duke Ellington's "Rhapsody in Blue" made me want to give the man all the money in my pocket but sadly I couldn't. There was also the smell of chili cheese dogs that the people next to us were trying to scarf down before the train arrived. Finally it arrived and this was my first time on a subway car. The feeling of my butt on the rough "cushioned" chairs wasn't the best feeling in the world. The sight on many people from Jamaican to Irish was one that I haven't seen in such a small compacted space. I could also see the sight of Jefferson Memorial and the Potomac River as we passed them was breathtaking. We passed a few other sights such as the Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial and the WW2 Memorial. As we walked off the train we could hear the conductor giving everyone safety instructions and telling them to step away from the doors. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. My Favorite Vacation Essay St. Thomas My favorite vacation spot is St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I have been there ten times and every time has affected me in different aspects. Each year that I have gone, I have discovered something new that makes me never want to leave. The people, food, and culture are all so unique because I do not witness it on an every day basis. In the islands there are unique sights, sounds, and smells that let me know I am away from home relaxing and enjoying vacation with family. Another sound that I enjoy hearing in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. My Favorite Vacation Last spring, my family and I took a trip to Maui. Everyone had a good time, and those people consisted of me, my husband, my parents, my grandma, my three uncles, my two sisters, and my two brothers. We wanted to choose a place that will be family friendly with a lot of sceneries, and activities to do. Due to my grandma being in ICU for a whole month back in August 2016, and given an estimated time of living, we wanted a place that will allow us to explore, spend time together, and make wonderful memories to look back on. We all agreed on Maui. Maui is a great choice for a family–friendly vacation spot. We stayed at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club Resort and it had all the accommodations that were needed to enjoy our stay. It...show more content... One of my favorite is the ABC store. That's where I bought all my souvenirs, Hawaiian dresses, and snacks. A nearby restaurant that we all enjoyed was Aloha Mixed Plates. It looks like a little turquoise shack, but as we walked up to it, we can smell the grilled teriyaki chicken and stir–fry yakisoba noodles. With the ukulele playing in the background and eating outside with the view of surfers in the ocean, it gave me a sense of what the island feels like. Afterwards, we went to check out the Lahaina Heritage Museum that offers a fascinating show case of the Hawaiian history, and is free to the public. Lahaina Restoration states "Lahaina Heritage Museum offers visitors a comprehensive, interactive look at the rich and varied history of Lahaina from pre–contact Hawai'i to the Monarchy era, including the missionary and whaling period, and from the Plantation era to early tourism" (Lahaina Restoration Foundation). We saw a lot of unremarkable artwork, such as 3d models of the island, a courthouse that used to be the palace for the king back in the 1800s, and a 60 ft. tall banyan tree planted outside of the museum that we took great family photos in front of. After exploring Front Street, we booked a few family excursions. Maui has excursions that gave my family and I a great experience. On a bright sunny afternoon, we got onto a big white cruise boat where it took us out snorkeling in the middle of the calm part of the ocean. While snorkeling, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

There was a little mall over the road it was really cool it had everything the a mall it even had a little park and a argade room. • 15. My Favorite Vacation Vacation is time for one to relax and enjoy themselves when they are free from routine activities. It is the time when one evades the stress that comes from daily activities and relaxes their body and mind. For a vacation, one needs a place where the environment is conducive for relaxation. The environment needs to be silent and serene. The weather also needs to be enjoyable and the people friendly. A vacation zone needs to be somewhere where the air is clean away from the towns where the air has been polluted by vehicle exhaust fumes and factory gases and smoke. The serenity and peace and the feeling of cool air blowing over your body is one of the most enjoyable things for a vacation. The beach is my favorite vacation location. At the beach, there is calmness that can rarely be found in any other place. The beach, I can say, is the most relaxing and beautiful places. There are also some few adventures and this makes the beach all the more admirable and a spectacular place. The freshness and the smell of salt make the feeling so enjoyable that all you want to do is sit there and enjoy the scents fir a long time. The beach gives you an opportunity to be amused by some of the things that seem to be too small in life. The fact that the beach allows you to appreciate these small things is one of the major reasons why I consider it to be my best vacation location. The beach gives one a sense of mystery and adventure. There is a large number of creatures that live in the sea Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Personal Essay : My Favorite Vacation My Vacation This will be my story on my favorite vacation. This vacation was my most recent one in which i went on a cruise. A cruise is taking a ship to other destinations throughout the world. The cruise That i was on Went to 3 different islands. The following will be why this cruise was my favorite vacation ive ever been on. The first place we went to was Florida. We flew down to florida in order to board the ship but we got 1 night before we boarded the ship. Usually when we go down to florida the night before the cruise we end up going to a nice restaurant and this restaurant was especially fancy. When we first got there we got to our hotel and then walked around to find a nice place to eat. This particular steak house was unlike anything i've ever been in before. We walked up to the front and read a sign said "formal attire only" but we were in shorts and t shirts. As we were reading it the owner of the restaurant came out and welcomed us inside. We get inside they sit us down in this beautiful circular booth. They came and served us water and brought out a platter with an array of vegetables and fruits. Cucumbers, Oranges, Etc. Multiple servers would walk by and make sure we were fine, Service like ive never experienced before. This food was NOT cheap at all we did not expect it from the restaurant. I ordered a lobster bisque to start off and it was the most fantastic soup i've ever had in my life. After that i ordered a steak gorgonzola and that was absolutely phenomenal. The store owner was very polite and he himself came around to check on us and see how we were doing. By far the most memorable restaurant i've ever been to. Then we went home and went to bed to get ready for the cruise in the morning. We woke up at 5 am When it was pouring rain to get on the cruise ship the ship was absolutely phenomenal. I'll get into that at a later time. The first Island we went to is called Grand Turk In Turks and Caicos. Now this island we have already gone to previously so we knew what we were gonna do there. The second we got off the ship we took a half a mile walk down the beach to this place called "Jack's Shack" where they serve THE BEST Jerked chicken and play music and serve drinks to you while you lay Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Narrative Essay About Summer Vacation Summer Vacation Do you know the reason why we have summer vacation? I believe that summer vacation is not just about sleeping in and appreciating the time off, it includes spending time with your close friends and family, and that is exactly what I did this summer break. There were many fascinating things I did this summer and in this essay I will tell you a few of things I enjoyed doing. Spending time with close relatives and is exactly what I did to kickoff my summer even though massive amount of them lived out of the state Indiana going to Seattle, Mexico, Texas, and Virginia. Somehow we accomplished the task to see my whopping 275family members only on my mom's side, we ended up putting on a huge family reunion to...show more content... For that rest of the day we went to a restaurant called Puckett's and apparently it is right down the road from Justin Timberlake's recording studio /private house, All of the kids including me went to his front and touched his door knob and I might of took a sneak peek inside his house. The last day we were there we visited a beautiful waterfall, even though it was a lovely site the water part was very deadly. The reason why it was deadly was there were big boulders everywhere you stepped, and there were water moccasins which are venomous snakes that lurked around in the water. When it was time to live the waterfall a water moccasin was about 20 feet in front of me and my friends, thankfully another guy ran into the water scaring the snake away making it safe for me and my buddies to get out. Honestly out of the whole entire summer this had to be my favorite vacation. This next vacation isn't really a vacation it's more of an event but it was fun, hilarious, and relaxing like a vacation. After Tennessee we went seven days later we went to Detroit, Michigan for this thing called a muck fest. A muck fest is 5k with muddy obstacles that you run into on your way to the finish line. The race only lasted 2 hours for my mom, dad, and other family members to finish. The best part was when I was able to do the last three obstacles and get Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. What Is My Best Vacation Essay The best trip I have ever went on was when I went on my family vacation to Orlando, Florida. We went as a huge family, as in my dad's side of the family, I went with my grandma my grandpa my aunt and uncle my two cousins my mom and my dad and my two sisters and a brother, only to meet up with more family. We had went in the middle of June and were going for a week, we took a plane there and back and stayed at a hotel for a day or two. My family and I went up to Orlando for a couple days and then we drove to Miami, Florida to see my cousins because they used to live up in Miami. When my family and I first arrived we went to our hotel and got all situated, it was dark out and we were hungry so we decided to go to one of the most popular restaurants,...show more content... By this time the cousins we were waiting all day to see were sleeping and my aunt came down and got us all set up and ready for the next week in Miami. The next morning we were sleeping in because we were so terribly tired, but our cousins woke us up. And we havn't seen them in four years since that trip and there my best friends. We spent our first day swimming and getting used to each other, for the rest of the days we were signed up for beach camp with our cousins, that's where you would surf and swim and tube and see new animals and learn spanish and meet new friends. And then after that we would swim more and fish and take pictures. My favorite part of the trip was going to my first NBA game. It was the highlight because I got to meet the teammates from Miami Heat and we were part of the family room so we got to eat fancy food and play basketball and just have fun. The funniest part of that night was I was walking by the court and they were announcing the player and I was standing on this circle and all of a sudden flame is shooting out behind and I look down and I was like 'oh, shoot' and jumped off of it before it went up in flames, It was very scary. That was the best trip I went on, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. My Favorite Vacation Earlier this year I went on a vacation to Washington. Now this wasn't any normal vacation to Washington mainly because we normally go by plane but this time we went by car, with two dogs. I was very excited mainly because the rest of my family was living up there. I had to wake up in the middle of summer at 5:00 am! once I was up I had decided to slowly walk around and start to get ready for the vacation once we all piled into the car, me, my grandma, grandpa, brother, and the two dogs Grizz (that is how we spelled his name) and Panda. once we were on the road I fell asleep almost right away so I don't know what had happened. once I was awake we were in a new state we were in Utah and I was surprised to find out that we were on the road for a hour already! I wasn't very tired after that so I decided to stay awake and play on my phone. We went the longer way to washington and that wasn't the most exciting thing to hear.I didn't pay very much attention to Utah mainly because I was on my phone for most of Utah. I had wondered why we took the longer way to Washington but I didn't ask because I always had a 20 pound dog sitting on my lap. (and if you think I am over exaggerating about the weight I am not he weighs like 20 pounds) We then continued to drive until we arrived at Nevada. I would repeatedly asked, ''Are we there yet?'' I continued, ''what about now? My Grandma and Grandpa would respond, ''Not yet! Trevin just wait! We are almost to the hotel!'' Once we Get more content on HelpWriting.net
