Editor's Notes
^
If you haven’t launched anything online, or you have done it before and know you can do better, then this webinar series is for you.
Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer them.
It’s nice to see so many people here. Start time is always the biggest problem for me. Having an audience all over the world makes webinars more difficult.
Marketer- Super excited, held a live event a few months ago and received great feedback.
biz owner - 2 weeks ago sold one of my offline businesses to my major competitor. Great outcome.
1-on-1 - Love this, so much fun, I love seeing people change and grow. Love helping them learn

In this webinar I will be giving you real situations from my 1-on-1 coaching clients.
Setting things up properly gives you much less chance to fail.
Trust me. once you set things up and take the time. The last thing you want to do is fail.
I have noticed a lot of “coaches” offering downloadable programs.
1 coach who said she is responsible for some massive launches, said something along the lines of “do it how ever you want” That is not really advice that she should be charging for.
I am not here to put others down. I just know that there are some people that are doing the fake it till I make it. How do I know? They offer pre done videos with the same info I have read in a number of the original launch books. I could even tell you which books they took the info from.
I offer video training with my coaching. but I have worked out the only way to sell pre packaged coaching for a launch, means I need to create about 200 variations to at least seam slightly personalised.
This first webinar is going to be about a big lie I hear from coaches. But I want to see if you can work it out yourself… I am going to give you 3 case studies of situations with my clients.
This client knows her target audience inside out. She knows just what to sell.
She came to me and we did it again.
Once we did a full blown strategy session
She realised she needed to rethink her training material
She needed more time
She needed to contact affiliates
Here is the LIE YOU have been told about launching
an E-COURSE, PROGRAM or SERVICE
I have seen so many “coaches” offering launch in 30 days calendars
Some of the better ones at least say “come with content created”
I have heard some coaches (i use the word loosely) say they launched in 2 weeks while working full time.
I say minimum is 40 days. That is full time, working on your launch. Even then without guidance it is hard to see what you are missing.
Affiliates - bloggers, twitters
Course creation
Website creation
The most well known businesses that have their own launches don’t do it
You don’t want to procrastinate, and sometimes having too much time is not good either as nothing gets done.
So the dates here give time but make you work for it.
Why these time frames?
A good strategy makes up 50% of your work. By being organised and ready for each step, you take away the issue, known as running around like a headless chook.
QUESTIONS:
Amy Bradley - I want to run a course for teenagers who need self esteem. How much time do you think I should allow to create my course and how long should the course go for?
>>>>>>> How long it takes to create depends on how much you offer. how much you offer depends on how much you can teach and how much you want to charge.
i would sit down and work out the topics and roughly how much you can offer.
>>>>>>Actually this is another lie I hear! “you want to run a course? You must sell it for a least $997……..
Lauren Pollock - My course is for mature people getting online, how long lead-time should I allow between the coming soon page and launching?
>>>>>>10 to 14 days
Here is one of my clients who I am working with that now really understands why working with a coach is so important.
-In part 2 I will teach you the proven strategy to building an email list. My clients have done this time and time again from 0.
-Part 3 The document is part of the strategy documents I use with my clients. I will show you how to use this document and also provide you a copy
I wanted to leave you with this quote.
Thanks for listening! See you tomorrow.
