3. Tito Bustillo Cave
The Tito Bustillo Cave is located in the small town
of Ribadesella, in the Autonomous Community of Asturias,
Spain. As part of the Palaeolithic cave art it counts with 12
prehistoric paintings, making it one of the most complete
examples of the prehistoric art in the North of Spain.
4. Altamira Cave
The Cave of Altamira is a cave in Cantabria, Spain, famous for
its cave paintings featuring drawings of wild mammals and human
hands, created between 18.500 and 14.000 years ago, during
the Upper Paleolithic by early human beings. The acknowledgment of
the authenticity of the paintings, which finally came in 1902, changed
the perception of prehistoric human beings.
