My School Essay
We all know School is one of the biggest and most important parts of our lives, but is it really that important? We meet new people and learn what
we what to do in life, the big question I have is "Does it actually do what we think". Everyday I walk home, it's a short walk, only around a mile, but
afterwards I'm tired from both my walk and school. I'm always hoping I have no homework and no chores, but that's never the case for me. No
matter how much homework I get I have at least 2 big chores that can take upwards of 40 minutes, and stacked with the hour to two hours
homework I get, I feel stuck. All I ever think about is "What are my grades" and "Am I going to be able to talk with my friends". I can't explore my
interests and my own...show more content...
They have the highest graduation rate and more people go to college and get PhDs and Doctorates. The reason for this is because of their student
idea friendly system, they support their students and who they want to be. Teachers work harder for a much higher pay to help students, bullying
is down and kids enjoy going to school more. In Sweden they have massive amounts of electives for the children to choose from and almost every
single type of interest for a growing child. The US school system usually has little electives and in recent years have decreased them. At LRMS
alone, 6 have been dropped in the past 7 years. I have so many friends that tell me that they don't know what they want to do with their life. Most
people don't look at the school system as the problem, they just blame it on "Millennials being lazy and useless". Another commonplace to blame is
the teacher's, people think that the reason the US school system is failing is because of teachers. The true and real reason the school system is being
pointed at people that have perfect grades is the curriculum, homework, and higher ups that choose a lot of the ways teachers have to teach. A great
example of a great teacher is Mrs Sullivan, she rarely gives homework and pushes her students in class instead of out of school. Sullivan does exactly
what a teacher in Sweden does, and

My Future School : My School Of The Future
School
My school of the future will offer many classes and classrooms for high schoolers. There will be a separate wing for each subject (math, science,
social studies, etc.), as organizing a school like that makes for easier navigation and access to classrooms. I drew my school with all of the
classrooms on outside walls for one reason: windows! I really love when classrooms have windows because it is something different to look at and in
addition they are important for schools to have as the natural light is a drastic difference from the drab, beige–white walls of a school. If windows were
not an option in my school, I would not hesitate to substitute skylights in for them. Moreover, to ensure that the students attending my school have the
best education, I will have a large library. I personally love the library for two reasons: one because reading is a hobby of mine, and two because it is
a quiet place to read, study, or just hang out. Furthermore, two out of the four science classroom will have a lab area to conduct experiments in. There
will also be a kitchen in the Family and Consumer Sciences wing to make authentic foods in.
A few extra qualities my school will offer that not all schools do are airconditioning and heating, a pool, both an indoor and an outdoor track, a
greenhouse, a domed lunchroom/courtyard with glass ceiling, as well as art and music programs, as well as transgender bathrooms. To begin, a pool
would be a fun way for students to get in physical

My High School Year Essay
There was a point in my time where I enjoyed school and took pleasure in attending school and that was elementary. Those were the best school years
of my life, having nothing to care about, the school lunch was unbelievably amazing and we had recess. Middle school was manageable but was also
beginning to become tough because the classes were becoming difficult. As we approach the beginning of ourhigh school career, parents and teachers
always tell us students that it's the best four years of our life, which in my case I did not find high school fascinating or enjoyable. I found high
school to be very stressful, overwhelming and not easy, understanding that the next four years of my life will be filled with obstacles and
challenges that I will face. I knew that I would have challenges with my courses, but I did not think I would have trouble with my emotions such as
feeling depressed, sad, or that I would cry every other day, but to some teachers or parents thought it was normal for teenagers because we are going
through different phases of our life. My freshman year was probably the best year of my high school year but I did face many challenges. I was
immature, did not obey my teachers, always getting in some sort of trouble. I was carefree, fun, outgoing and had decent memories whether they were
good memories or bad memories. Towards the middle of my freshman year I found out that I had Hyperthyroidism, and was quite confused and did not
understand what it meant. As I

Goal For Going To School
My primary goal for going to school is to be able to make my family proud and do something beneficial with my degree. Getting an education is
extremely important in my family because it signifies hard work. No one in my immediate family has attended college yet and I would like to be the
one that ends this cycle and graduates college. College is also important in my family because they believe that this will ensure that I will have a stable
future and this is crucial to me. Going to school is essential to my goal of being able to do something beneficial with my degree in nursing. When I
become a nurse I want to volunteer overseas and at home. At my college, UCF, there are many opportunities to volunteer across the world and I cannot

My Journey Through High School Essay
To some, four years seems like a long time, but for me the past four years have flown by. In these quick four years, so much has changed and yet so
much is exactly the same. You still go to school with most of the same people. You walk into the same familiar building and say hello to most of the
same teachers. During these four years I have lost some friends, but I have gained real ones, which is one of the most important things to me. My
outlook on life has changed. I have become a more open and understanding person and I have learned many valuable life lessons. I have made many
great memories and I have learned to appreciate everything I have because nothing is permanent. My journey through high school is like a plane ride. It
takes off freshman year and I go on a long, and sometimes bumpy, journey to get to my final destination. Even though in many ways I am still the
same person as the one that walked through those school doors as a freshman, I have also changed in order to try to become the best version of myself
and get to my final destination. Freshman year I remember walking into the school mortified, thinking that everything and anything that could go
wrong would. I had never attended a Liberty–Benton School and knew about five people that would be in my grade. I was shy and quiet because I
didn't know any of the new faces. I was insecure about myself and thought that it would be almost impossible to make friends. Before high school, I
went to a small, private,

School Improvement Essay
School improvement is transformation. It is one of the most important actions of a school. It is a process that schools must use with fidelity to ensure
that at all students are given the opportunity to perform and achieve at exemplary levels. School improvement is vital to schools and it is a process
that cannot be done in isolation. It requires team work, collaboration, and constant analysis of data and setting of goals. School improvement goals
focus on how to meet the needs of students. Addressing the educational needs, funding, and achievement gaps between subgroups is collaborative
effort involves everyone that has a vested interest in the schools. These basic measures set the foundation for improvement. And so, if it is the...show

This is the most difficult step for schools, however, when working together, with urgency and a mindset to improve, total transformation will occur. As
we review and synthesize data of a district for planning school improvement, the following information is needed to access and determine the needs of a
school. First, a thorough analysis of performance data must be reviewed to see how school districts measure up with state and federal accountability.
During this process, it is very important that schools focus the performance indicators that will guarantee growth and success. School teams must refer
to the districts mission and vision to guide the planning process. The performance indicators will provide data that will be beneficial in creating
improvement strategies. So, after careful evaluation of the data, the next step would be to plan effective methods and strategies that will improve
student achievement. Moreover, this plan should include needs, demographics and opportunities for students to be successful. Additionally, the
baseline data is important information to include in the improvement plan.
Data is always the best resource for trying to improve student achievement. The data will help guide continuous improvement of a plan. There are four
types of data that will be beneficial to any team during the planning phase of the school improvement process.
Demographics data, achievement data, perception

My Experience At My School
Everyone knows that one kid... who is always up to something, but never gets in trouble. Well that was me, Aiden Young, until I realized that I
needed to change my attitude. It all started on a Monday, and everyone knows Monday is the worst day of the week. I woke up at 7:06 a.m. With
only nine minutes to get dressed, brush my teeth, and eat breakfast. I had missed the bus, and today is the one day they both my mom and dad start
work early. So they were not home to drive me, so I had to ride my bike to school. When I got to school, I had one minute till the bell rang. Of course
that was not enough time to go to my locker that is on the first floor and make it to the third floor. As I guessed I was three minutes late. I tried to
slip into the class going unnoticed. I do not know how but it worked, this may be because my last name is Young and I'm at the bottom of the
roaster. I have algebra first, and as usual I talked most of the time. This is the teacher's mistake because she told us we could choose our seats, and I
sat next to my best friend Michael in the back of the room. Unlike me Michael does well in school, and he is kind of nerdy. I asked him how his
weekend was and he replied with, "I spent my whole weekend study for our Social Studies test." He seemed so annoyed with me, and I totally forgot
to about that test. That is another subject I am going to fail. There was always one thing I wonder about and that was why I was ever even friends

Descriptive Essay About A New School
A new school, A new beginning. No acquaintances, No friends, having to restart my life. While suffering with anxiety of what may lie ahead. Enduring
fear of being rejected.
As a 9–year old girl, I still had a mindset that still needed friends who could influence me positively. I found it difficult for me to make any new
friends or truly be myself around anyone. The need for belonging served as my only objective. Class after class, they all turned into disappointments.
Losing hope, I first stepped into his class, realizing everything would change.
As I approached the classroom door, A tall figure with short dark brown hair and eyes as blue as an ocean greeted me. He also had a thin figure with
great posture. With a charming smile, laid–back presence like a carefree surfer. He always had a welcoming smile, no matter who approached him or
entered his classroom. Whenever he wears suits, he would match a distinctive tie, more unique each time. Showing that he never wanted to be average.
Looking at his appearance and his affectionate demeanor, something told me maybe he could be the answers that I needed.
His classroom, one of the largest, was filled with a collection of different instruments varying from flutes to drums. I did not know where to begin or
what to discover first. As one of my first music teachers/ vocal coaches, with the goal of inspiring young kids to look more into the beauty of music.
As time continued to go on, he became that one person who never gave up

My Time at Boarding School Essay
My Time at Boarding School
At the beginning of year six, when I was ten, my mum brought up the subject of secondary school and I realised that, after that year, I would have
to leave the school and people I had known for many years. I knew I would have to leave my friends, because they were all going to the local
comprehensive school, and as my brother was at a private school, I would have to go to one too. I had a choice. I could go to Dauntsey's school,
the same as my brother, but I would have had to wear the horrible brown uniform. Therefore, I went to Bruton School for Girls. A private Girl's
school in Somerset. I did not particularly like that uniform, but if I was to go, I would be a boarder...show more content...
She asked me my name and pointed to a door opposite the door we were stood at and told me that I was going to live in there for the next year. I
thanked her and carried on dragging my suitcase.
When we got in, I was so nervous. A small staircase that led up into a little room that looked out onto the downstairs impressed me. I chose a bed
and wondered who would live in the two other beds up there. Everybody had a small, uncomfortable bed, a chest of draws, with three draws; the top
drawer had a lock on, and a small narrow wardrobe. My mum unpacked all my stuff, while I watched the other four girls unpack. AChinese girl was
talking to a girl with bushy black hair, and there was a very pretty girl arguing with her mum and dad about her poster that had a cat hanging off a
branch and a rude word written on it. The other girl seemed to know the girl with the rude poster because she kept talking to her every now and again.
It was surprisingly noisy, so I could not hear their conversation.
After about an hour, my mum took me to see the housemistress. I walked down the corridor short corridor. Standing in front of me was a dumpy
woman with white hair and purple tinted glasses. She was very nice to me and showed me into a nice small cosy room that had a sign on the door

My Flaws In High School
"Everything I do is terrible." I have developed this bias against myself ever since my freshman year of high school when I could identify each
individual flaw in my work since I created it, yet I failed to find any flaws in any of my classmates' work. Every time the English teacher gave the
class free response questions, my neighbor's answers were twice the size as mine. Every time the U.S. History teacher assigned a group presentation
project, all of the other presentations looked and sounded better than my group's presentation, and I always blamed myself. Every time I personally
wrote a story or drew a cartoon on my own time, I always compared my work to other students' work and thought that they produced better creations
than me. I classified myself as the worst student in school....show more content...
Teachers began to talk about schools, scholarships, recommendation letters, and the dreaded college application essay. They stated that I needed to
gloat about my accomplishments except I did not consider myself proficient in any way. I felt like I did not meet any of the requirements to get into
college. This inadequate feeling doubled when teachers started to boast about Mr.Perfect Thirty–Six on the ACT, Ms.Governor's Scholar, and
Mr.Football Superstar. With a plethora of talent and success, of course, they could apply to Harvard effortlessly; however, I couldn't because I only
scored a measly twenty–three on the ACT; I never signed up for any school clubs or events; and, I haven't even attended any of the school's sports
games let alone tried out for them. How did my teachers expect me to compete with my accomplished All–American classmates? I

I believe that High Tech High School will expand my boundaries and help me understand everything I need to know about Digital/Fabrication. I
want this school to be the reason I enjoy learning about the world outside school and prepare me for the future. I had been to the hospital many
times. For my own sake or for others. Every Time I would walk down one of the corridors, I would be amazed by all of the doctors and how they spent
most of their lives learning to help other people. Not only doctors, but people who study the human body and the chemical systems. They are also
helping other people and keeping them healthy. They study the human body and how our understanding can benefit humans in the future. I was
always interested in the human body and its functions. Anyone can make a change in the life of humans and I want to make a change. As I
graduate high school I want to remember the reason of why I did what I did because of High Tech High School. Every person has their own dream
and it is possible for anyone to get accepted into the schools of their choice. But as a student soon to graduate middle school I have many set of
skills to help me throughout high school. I have learned these skills throughout my years in school. Ever since my first day of school to this very day
that will benefit me during and past my school years. For instance, I work better with others than by myself. I am an exceptional listener and my am

High School Hardships
High school is full of many twists and turns and no one knows exactly what's going to happen in high school. There can be many things that can help
to have a simple high school life but there is also things that can make it harder. I am going to be talking about three of my hardships I have faced during
high school. Well for starters throughout all of high school I have procrastinated and put everything off till last minute and sometimes not even do it.
I would sit there knowing I have some huge project that needs done the next day and instead of doing it I would think of some way to try to get out
of it or distract myself. I would distract myself by playing video games, go on a walk, sometimes just take a nap, or by talking to a friend...show more

I did not always go to Derby High I went to Little River Junior Senior High School from 6th grade to 11th grade. The reason why I moved here is from
my own stupidity that involved the person previously mentioned. I felt like I wouldn't get along with anyone here in derby so I tried to not speak
to anyone and try to just disappear. Luckily that did not last long cause my second day of school here I met amazing people who I got along with and
they helped me alot with my struggles. Even though I had those amazing friends I still did not feel like I belonged here. I felt as if I was not needed so
I tried to get back to doing school work but it didn't work because I was so used to not doing it and I did not know what we were doing because I
stopped paying attention. I finally got back into the swing of things and I tried to get my grades back up. I was mostly successful. I have gotten
better at doing my work, I found out she wasn't right for me, and I know I belong here. I am glad I was able to get over most all those trials but this is
just the beginning. Honestly I have no idea of what I want to do after I leave high school job wise. I kinda want to go to college, work with computers,
get married and have kids. I know those are things that will not happen until a long time from now but I can't wait to see what's next on this crazy train

My Schedule During The Week Essay
Well, my schedule during the week is usually focused at school or at home. My weeks are never smooth and I usually have a lot of homework because
I am taking 18 units. I specifically handle all my day to day things by the first study and do my homework before I go play a video game, sleep, or eat.
My days feel very structured and I usually tried to prepare and do all my homework at least 1 week ahead. That way I have a bit more time to study for
a test. Most of the time, I get a homework assignment out of nowhere, which always forces me to go with the flow. I organize my day to day by a to
do list, a pile, and by section. I always eat breakfast during 8:00 A.M. to 9 A.M., I eat lunch at 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. and I would eat my dinner usually at

Those classes are usually the longest time–consuming in my week because they are about 3 hours long. On the Saturday and Sunday, most of my
time is to study for the exam or do homework because my class gives me a huge amount of homework. I usually play games for about 30 mins on
randomly on my schedule or when I have a random free time. I sleep about 4 to 5 hours a day in the week, but on the weekend, I sleep about 7 to 9
hours.
There are three examples from the text that I plan to use in my future or now to help me combat my time management in the day to day task. First is
to know how much time I am using for studying and increasing that time if needed. Second is to use a system to plan and set priorities. Lastly, it for
me to stay motivated to follow my plan and avoid procrastination. The three strategies I would use in the textbook would do the most important study
first, use a calendar planner and daily to–do list, and do the easier task first. I choose those three strategies for my time management because time is
the key to be successful. The most important to study first would help me seek a question that I might not know; therefore, I could ask for assistance
if I get stuck in my study. For me to use a calendar planner would help me schedule my time more efficiently. For me to use a daily to–do list will help
me knock off what I need to accomplish by the end of my day. Doing the easier task first is important because it

My Best Day At School
My Best Day at School
"Hey, mom what's for breakfast?" I shouted while getting dressed.
"I'm making pancakes & eggs." She shouted back at me. I hoped that she would at least wake me up earlier before 6 am so that way I could take a
shower before school. But instead, she woke me up at 7 am. I soon got ready for school & walked down stairs for breakfast.
"How many pancakes do you want?" she asked.
"I'll have two." I replied as I sat down at the table.
"Here you go," she said while she set the plate down on the table. I soon later got done & was waiting for the bus. I saw my mom cleaning so I went
up to her to ask a question.
"Hey Mom, why do I have to go to school," I said jokingly.
"So that way you learn more stuff & you could soon leave my house when you go to college." She said while laughing. But I don't know if I found it
funny. "Well.... that's kinda rude." I said in a sad voice. Soon later I started to leave & wait for the bus. It took a little while but the bus arrived. I
started to walk & got on the bus & sat at the back of the row of the bus. It was only me in the back of the bus because all my friends either walk or they
get rides from their parents or even brothers & sisters. "Man I really don't want to go to class at all." I thought to myself while I was walking into the
school building. I soon got to my class & sat down at my table. Except Mr. Kane wasn't there. "Hey Tom. Where is Mr. Kane." I asked him.

My Educational Background Of School
My educational background began with me attending public school for about three years, then I went to catholic school. Middle school was the
best part of my education. In middle school I was given the opportunity to express myself creatively through dance, drama, writing, and with my
voice. I attended a school of arts for one year; I noticed some changes that I was not familiar with when I was at student at catholic school. While in
catholic school we studied a curriculum that included science, math, language, and social studies, but religion was dominant over all the material. At
the school of the arts, I studied the same materials but the religion was absent, instead we were offered creative classes such as dance, drama, band,
and vocal chorus. In addition to the curriculum there were the projects, for example, the science fair and social studies fair projects. I have always
liked to be unique and creative and I would use these projects to show that. I was even fortunate enough to be accepted to attend Martin Luther King
Magnet High School, neither myself nor my parents had considered this as an opportunity. As a student at MLK, I learned I would have to push
myself and give extra effort in order to make the grade. The educators believed in high quality learning objectives, as students we were required to
analyze information and compare and contrast, instead of completing simple assignments where we would recall information. I studied seven or eight
subjects per day and I

My Future Plans For High School
In a few months, I will make a huge decision that will help determine my future.
I have many plans for high school; such as what classes I will take and what clubs I will join. But first I Have to take the entrance exams
I have been studying for the high school entrance exams since the beginning of summer. My mom bought me three big texts books that will help with
the High School Placement Test, Independent School Entrance Exam, and Secondary School Admission Test. Recently I have started going to a tutor
that specializes in preparing students for the exams.
I am applying for schools. My first one is Charter School of Wilmington. It is my first choice because it is two minutes from my house, so I would
ride my bike. Also, it specializes in science which is my favorite subject, they are attached to an art school, which I also like to do, they have a good
tennis team, and it is free. Archmere is my second choice. I like it there because it has a large campus that has buildings that are spread out like a college
. Tower Hill is my third choice because it is next to my neighborhood. Also Tower Hill doesn't specialize in a specific subject it is an all
–around school
with art, music, math, science, and many more subjects. Friends is my fourth choice. I don't know much about Friends but i've heard it's a good
school and will prepare for college. Padua is my backup school in case I don't get accepted into any other school. I am interested in Padu because I have

My Experience In Secondary School
Secondary school has been an unrelenting path. These four years of secondary school have had their excitements and their downfalls. My life had
transformed into one that no individual could ever envision persevering through, an experience so unpleasant that it changed my philosophy and point
of view.
On September second, 2014, my grandfather passed away from a heart attack. He was a cherishing grandparent as well as a great motivator. He used
to tell me "I see so much potential in you," and that is something I held on to all my life. Not only did my grandfather leave my family and me with an
immense ethos, yet additionally left us with an extraordinary measure of dissatisfaction. In the meantime, with all this happening I had issues of my
own in school. My marks were at their most minimal, and I was attempting my best to bring them back up. I was never too bright in subjects, for
instance, Math or science. Regardless, that was an issue that I expected to oversee by stressing less and augment more in my studies. I decided to
implement many techniques to help me focus in my studies; I tried to put my phone face down so I can become less distracted although, every time
I hear a buzz and see a glimpse of the screen light up I feel tempted to unlock my phone and see the notification. I kept on attempting different
strategies to enable me to succeed in focusing on my studies, yet nothing made a difference. I reached a point where I sold my electronic devices such
as my phone

During my school career, I have excelled in science, math, and music. I enjoy these areas of study, and I like the challenge each disciple requires. I

and did well on the AP exams. In addition, I took a robotics class for three years, and competed in the Texas ComputerEducation Association (TCEA)
state robotics competition, two of the three years. In addition to academic classes, I was in the marching band and advanced concert band playing the

My Vision For My Future Classroom
My Vision
My vision for my future classroom is to create an atmosphere where each individual feels accepted and valued. It is my goal to discover ways to make
learning innovative, enjoyable, creative, and rewarding. I will strive to discover my strengths, then use them to empower my students. Hopefully this
leads to positive outcomes within each student and transforms the way my classroom operates. I would love to teach elementary level students,
preferably grades 1–3, because that is my passion. In this type of classroom, I would teach the basics of every subject for that grade. I believe that I
would excel with the variety that this role has to offer. I am open to teaching anywhere and in any type of school, due to the fact myeducation was both
in public and parochial schools. If possible, I will use technology to enhance my teaching. I would love to incorporate technology into my classroom
because it makes learning more efficient, increases student creativity, and creates endless learning possibilities by giving every student a customizable
learning experience.
Basic Information
Splash Math is an app that helps kids review, improve, and refine their personal math skills. The basic app month trail is free, but if parents and
teachers wish to use the app longer they must pay a monthly or annual rate. Also a teacher or parent account must be created before the child is
allowed to play the app. However, this can be beneficial because adults may create individual profiles

My School Essay

  • 1. My School Essay We all know School is one of the biggest and most important parts of our lives, but is it really that important? We meet new people and learn what we what to do in life, the big question I have is "Does it actually do what we think". Everyday I walk home, it's a short walk, only around a mile, but afterwards I'm tired from both my walk and school. I'm always hoping I have no homework and no chores, but that's never the case for me. No matter how much homework I get I have at least 2 big chores that can take upwards of 40 minutes, and stacked with the hour to two hours homework I get, I feel stuck. All I ever think about is "What are my grades" and "Am I going to be able to talk with my friends". I can't explore my interests and my own...show more content... They have the highest graduation rate and more people go to college and get PhDs and Doctorates. The reason for this is because of their student idea friendly system, they support their students and who they want to be. Teachers work harder for a much higher pay to help students, bullying is down and kids enjoy going to school more. In Sweden they have massive amounts of electives for the children to choose from and almost every single type of interest for a growing child. The US school system usually has little electives and in recent years have decreased them. At LRMS alone, 6 have been dropped in the past 7 years. I have so many friends that tell me that they don't know what they want to do with their life. Most people don't look at the school system as the problem, they just blame it on "Millennials being lazy and useless". Another commonplace to blame is the teacher's, people think that the reason the US school system is failing is because of teachers. The true and real reason the school system is being pointed at people that have perfect grades is the curriculum, homework, and higher ups that choose a lot of the ways teachers have to teach. A great example of a great teacher is Mrs Sullivan, she rarely gives homework and pushes her students in class instead of out of school. Sullivan does exactly what a teacher in Sweden does, and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Future School : My School Of The Future School My school of the future will offer many classes and classrooms for high schoolers. There will be a separate wing for each subject (math, science, social studies, etc.), as organizing a school like that makes for easier navigation and access to classrooms. I drew my school with all of the classrooms on outside walls for one reason: windows! I really love when classrooms have windows because it is something different to look at and in addition they are important for schools to have as the natural light is a drastic difference from the drab, beige–white walls of a school. If windows were not an option in my school, I would not hesitate to substitute skylights in for them. Moreover, to ensure that the students attending my school have the best education, I will have a large library. I personally love the library for two reasons: one because reading is a hobby of mine, and two because it is a quiet place to read, study, or just hang out. Furthermore, two out of the four science classroom will have a lab area to conduct experiments in. There will also be a kitchen in the Family and Consumer Sciences wing to make authentic foods in. A few extra qualities my school will offer that not all schools do are airconditioning and heating, a pool, both an indoor and an outdoor track, a greenhouse, a domed lunchroom/courtyard with glass ceiling, as well as art and music programs, as well as transgender bathrooms. To begin, a pool would be a fun way for students to get in physical Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My High School Year Essay There was a point in my time where I enjoyed school and took pleasure in attending school and that was elementary. Those were the best school years of my life, having nothing to care about, the school lunch was unbelievably amazing and we had recess. Middle school was manageable but was also beginning to become tough because the classes were becoming difficult. As we approach the beginning of ourhigh school career, parents and teachers always tell us students that it's the best four years of our life, which in my case I did not find high school fascinating or enjoyable. I found high school to be very stressful, overwhelming and not easy, understanding that the next four years of my life will be filled with obstacles and challenges that I will face. I knew that I would have challenges with my courses, but I did not think I would have trouble with my emotions such as feeling depressed, sad, or that I would cry every other day, but to some teachers or parents thought it was normal for teenagers because we are going through different phases of our life. My freshman year was probably the best year of my high school year but I did face many challenges. I was immature, did not obey my teachers, always getting in some sort of trouble. I was carefree, fun, outgoing and had decent memories whether they were good memories or bad memories. Towards the middle of my freshman year I found out that I had Hyperthyroidism, and was quite confused and did not understand what it meant. As I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Goal For Going To School My primary goal for going to school is to be able to make my family proud and do something beneficial with my degree. Getting an education is extremely important in my family because it signifies hard work. No one in my immediate family has attended college yet and I would like to be the one that ends this cycle and graduates college. College is also important in my family because they believe that this will ensure that I will have a stable future and this is crucial to me. Going to school is essential to my goal of being able to do something beneficial with my degree in nursing. When I become a nurse I want to volunteer overseas and at home. At my college, UCF, there are many opportunities to volunteer across the world and I cannot wait Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Journey Through High School Essay To some, four years seems like a long time, but for me the past four years have flown by. In these quick four years, so much has changed and yet so much is exactly the same. You still go to school with most of the same people. You walk into the same familiar building and say hello to most of the same teachers. During these four years I have lost some friends, but I have gained real ones, which is one of the most important things to me. My outlook on life has changed. I have become a more open and understanding person and I have learned many valuable life lessons. I have made many great memories and I have learned to appreciate everything I have because nothing is permanent. My journey through high school is like a plane ride. It takes off freshman year and I go on a long, and sometimes bumpy, journey to get to my final destination. Even though in many ways I am still the same person as the one that walked through those school doors as a freshman, I have also changed in order to try to become the best version of myself and get to my final destination. Freshman year I remember walking into the school mortified, thinking that everything and anything that could go wrong would. I had never attended a Liberty–Benton School and knew about five people that would be in my grade. I was shy and quiet because I didn't know any of the new faces. I was insecure about myself and thought that it would be almost impossible to make friends. Before high school, I went to a small, private, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. School Improvement Essay School improvement is transformation. It is one of the most important actions of a school. It is a process that schools must use with fidelity to ensure that at all students are given the opportunity to perform and achieve at exemplary levels. School improvement is vital to schools and it is a process that cannot be done in isolation. It requires team work, collaboration, and constant analysis of data and setting of goals. School improvement goals focus on how to meet the needs of students. Addressing the educational needs, funding, and achievement gaps between subgroups is collaborative effort involves everyone that has a vested interest in the schools. These basic measures set the foundation for improvement. And so, if it is the...show more content... This is the most difficult step for schools, however, when working together, with urgency and a mindset to improve, total transformation will occur. As we review and synthesize data of a district for planning school improvement, the following information is needed to access and determine the needs of a school. First, a thorough analysis of performance data must be reviewed to see how school districts measure up with state and federal accountability. During this process, it is very important that schools focus the performance indicators that will guarantee growth and success. School teams must refer to the districts mission and vision to guide the planning process. The performance indicators will provide data that will be beneficial in creating improvement strategies. So, after careful evaluation of the data, the next step would be to plan effective methods and strategies that will improve student achievement. Moreover, this plan should include needs, demographics and opportunities for students to be successful. Additionally, the baseline data is important information to include in the improvement plan. Data is always the best resource for trying to improve student achievement. The data will help guide continuous improvement of a plan. There are four types of data that will be beneficial to any team during the planning phase of the school improvement process. Demographics data, achievement data, perception Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My Experience At My School Everyone knows that one kid... who is always up to something, but never gets in trouble. Well that was me, Aiden Young, until I realized that I needed to change my attitude. It all started on a Monday, and everyone knows Monday is the worst day of the week. I woke up at 7:06 a.m. With only nine minutes to get dressed, brush my teeth, and eat breakfast. I had missed the bus, and today is the one day they both my mom and dad start work early. So they were not home to drive me, so I had to ride my bike to school. When I got to school, I had one minute till the bell rang. Of course that was not enough time to go to my locker that is on the first floor and make it to the third floor. As I guessed I was three minutes late. I tried to slip into the class going unnoticed. I do not know how but it worked, this may be because my last name is Young and I'm at the bottom of the roaster. I have algebra first, and as usual I talked most of the time. This is the teacher's mistake because she told us we could choose our seats, and I sat next to my best friend Michael in the back of the room. Unlike me Michael does well in school, and he is kind of nerdy. I asked him how his weekend was and he replied with, "I spent my whole weekend study for our Social Studies test." He seemed so annoyed with me, and I totally forgot to about that test. That is another subject I am going to fail. There was always one thing I wonder about and that was why I was ever even friends Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Descriptive Essay About A New School A new school, A new beginning. No acquaintances, No friends, having to restart my life. While suffering with anxiety of what may lie ahead. Enduring fear of being rejected. As a 9–year old girl, I still had a mindset that still needed friends who could influence me positively. I found it difficult for me to make any new friends or truly be myself around anyone. The need for belonging served as my only objective. Class after class, they all turned into disappointments. Losing hope, I first stepped into his class, realizing everything would change. As I approached the classroom door, A tall figure with short dark brown hair and eyes as blue as an ocean greeted me. He also had a thin figure with great posture. With a charming smile, laid–back presence like a carefree surfer. He always had a welcoming smile, no matter who approached him or entered his classroom. I did not know where to begin or what to discover first. As one of my first music teachers/ vocal coaches, with the goal of inspiring young kids to look more into the beauty of music. As time continued to go on, he became that one person who never gave up Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My Time at Boarding School Essay My Time at Boarding School At the beginning of year six, when I was ten, my mum brought up the subject of secondary school and I realised that, after that year, I would have to leave the school and people I had known for many years. I knew I would have to leave my friends, because they were all going to the local comprehensive school, and as my brother was at a private school, I would have to go to one too. I had a choice. I could go to Dauntsey's school, the same as my brother, but I would have had to wear the horrible brown uniform. Therefore, I went to Bruton School for Girls. A private Girl's school in Somerset. I did not particularly like that uniform, but if I was to go, I would be a boarder...show more content... She asked me my name and pointed to a door opposite the door we were stood at and told me that I was going to live in there for the next year. I thanked her and carried on dragging my suitcase. When we got in, I was so nervous. A small staircase that led up into a little room that looked out onto the downstairs impressed me. I chose a bed and wondered who would live in the two other beds up there. Everybody had a small, uncomfortable bed, a chest of draws, with three draws; the top drawer had a lock on, and a small narrow wardrobe. My mum unpacked all my stuff, while I watched the other four girls unpack. AChinese girl was talking to a girl with bushy black hair, and there was a very pretty girl arguing with her mum and dad about her poster that had a cat hanging off a branch and a rude word written on it. The other girl seemed to know the girl with the rude poster because she kept talking to her every now and again. It was surprisingly noisy, so I could not hear their conversation. After about an hour, my mum took me to see the housemistress. I walked down the corridor short corridor. Standing in front of me was a dumpy woman with white hair and purple tinted glasses. She was very nice to me and showed me into a nice small cosy room that had a sign on the door saying "Old Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. My Flaws In High School "Everything I do is terrible." I have developed this bias against myself ever since my freshman year of high school when I could identify each individual flaw in my work since I created it, yet I failed to find any flaws in any of my classmates' work. Every time the English teacher gave the class free response questions, my neighbor's answers were twice the size as mine. Every time the U.S. History teacher assigned a group presentation project, all of the other presentations looked and sounded better than my group's presentation, and I always blamed myself. Every time I personally wrote a story or drew a cartoon on my own time, I always compared my work to other students' work and thought that they produced better creations than me. I classified myself as the worst student in school....show more content... Teachers began to talk about schools, scholarships, recommendation letters, and the dreaded college application essay. They stated that I needed to gloat about my accomplishments except I did not consider myself proficient in any way. I felt like I did not meet any of the requirements to get into college. This inadequate feeling doubled when teachers started to boast about Mr.Perfect Thirty–Six on the ACT, Ms.Governor's Scholar, and Mr.Football Superstar. With a plethora of talent and success, of course, they could apply to Harvard effortlessly; however, I couldn't because I only scored a measly twenty–three on the ACT; I never signed up for any school clubs or events; and, I haven't even attended any of the school's sports games let alone tried out for them. How did my teachers expect me to compete with my accomplished All–American classmates? I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. My Dream For High School Life is the most terrifying roller coaster itself. It has its downfalls and rises. Eventually you will be able to overcome this experience and take control of life. It begins when during your childhood when you see your parents leaving as they leave you at school. As a child that has begun school, you have been expected to put in all effort and the importance of getting extraordinary grades. A few years later you are expected by everyone to have a clear understanding of your future life. There are many fantastic careers around the world, but the qualifications needed to get thouse jobs might not be as easy as imagined. Attending a great high school and college can get you the necessities for your dream job. As a middle school student ...show more content... I believe that High Tech High School will expand my boundaries and help me understand everything I need to know about Digital/Fabrication. I want this school to be the reason I enjoy learning about the world outside school and prepare me for the future. I had been to the hospital many times. For my own sake or for others. Every Time I would walk down one of the corridors, I would be amazed by all of the doctors and how they spent most of their lives learning to help other people. Not only doctors, but people who study the human body and the chemical systems. They are also helping other people and keeping them healthy. They study the human body and how our understanding can benefit humans in the future. I was always interested in the human body and its functions. Anyone can make a change in the life of humans and I want to make a change. As I graduate high school I want to remember the reason of why I did what I did because of High Tech High School. Every person has their own dream and it is possible for anyone to get accepted into the schools of their choice. • 12. High School Hardships High school is full of many twists and turns and no one knows exactly what's going to happen in high school. There can be many things that can help to have a simple high school life but there is also things that can make it harder. I am going to be talking about three of my hardships I have faced during high school. Well for starters throughout all of high school I have procrastinated and put everything off till last minute and sometimes not even do it. I would sit there knowing I have some huge project that needs done the next day and instead of doing it I would think of some way to try to get out of it or distract myself. I would distract myself by playing video games, go on a walk, sometimes just take a nap, or by talking to a friend...show more content... I did not always go to Derby High I went to Little River Junior Senior High School from 6th grade to 11th grade. The reason why I moved here is from my own stupidity that involved the person previously mentioned. I felt like I wouldn't get along with anyone here in derby so I tried to not speak to anyone and try to just disappear. Luckily that did not last long cause my second day of school here I met amazing people who I got along with and they helped me alot with my struggles. Even though I had those amazing friends I still did not feel like I belonged here. I felt as if I was not needed so I tried to get back to doing school work but it didn't work because I was so used to not doing it and I did not know what we were doing because I stopped paying attention. I finally got back into the swing of things and I tried to get my grades back up. I was mostly successful. I have gotten better at doing my work, I found out she wasn't right for me, and I know I belong here. I am glad I was able to get over most all those trials but this is just the beginning. Honestly I have no idea of what I want to do after I leave high school job wise. I kinda want to go to college, work with computers, get married and have kids. I know those are things that will not happen until a long time from now but I can't wait to see what's next on this crazy train of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. My Schedule During The Week Essay Well, my schedule during the week is usually focused at school or at home. My weeks are never smooth and I usually have a lot of homework because I am taking 18 units. I specifically handle all my day to day things by the first study and do my homework before I go play a video game, sleep, or eat. My days feel very structured and I usually tried to prepare and do all my homework at least 1 week ahead. That way I have a bit more time to study for a test. Most of the time, I get a homework assignment out of nowhere, which always forces me to go with the flow. I organize my day to day by a to do list, a pile, and by section. I always eat breakfast during 8:00 A.M. to 9 A.M., I eat lunch at 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. and I would eat my dinner usually at ...show more content... Those classes are usually the longest time–consuming in my week because they are about 3 hours long. On the Saturday and Sunday, most of my time is to study for the exam or do homework because my class gives me a huge amount of homework. I usually play games for about 30 mins on randomly on my schedule or when I have a random free time. I sleep about 4 to 5 hours a day in the week, but on the weekend, I sleep about 7 to 9 hours. There are three examples from the text that I plan to use in my future or now to help me combat my time management in the day to day task. First is to know how much time I am using for studying and increasing that time if needed. Second is to use a system to plan and set priorities. Lastly, it for me to stay motivated to follow my plan and avoid procrastination. The three strategies I would use in the textbook would do the most important study first, use a calendar planner and daily to–do list, and do the easier task first. I choose those three strategies for my time management because time is the key to be successful. The most important to study first would help me seek a question that I might not know; therefore, I could ask for assistance if I get stuck in my study. For me to use a calendar planner would help me schedule my time more efficiently. For me to use a daily to–do list will help me knock off what I need to accomplish by the end of my day. Doing the easier task first is important because it Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. My Best Day At School My Best Day at School "Hey, mom what's for breakfast?" I shouted while getting dressed. "I'm making pancakes & eggs." She shouted back at me. I hoped that she would at least wake me up earlier before 6 am so that way I could take a shower before school. I saw my mom cleaning so I went up to her to ask a question. "Hey Mom, why do I have to go to school," I said jokingly. "So that way you learn more stuff & you could soon leave my house when you go to college." She said while laughing. But I don't know if I found it funny. "Well.... that's kinda rude." I said in a sad voice. Soon later I started to leave & wait for the bus. It took a little while but the bus arrived. I started to walk & got on the bus & sat at the back of the row of the bus. It was only me in the back of the bus because all my friends either walk or they get rides from their parents or even brothers & sisters. "Man I really don't want to go to class at all." I thought to myself while I was walking into the school building. I soon got to my class & sat down at my table. Except Mr. Kane wasn't there. "Hey Tom. Where is Mr. Kane." I asked him. "Dude, you didn't hear, he's gone today, we Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. My Educational Background Of School My educational background began with me attending public school for about three years, then I went to catholic school. Middle school was the best part of my education. In middle school I was given the opportunity to express myself creatively through dance, drama, writing, and with my voice. I attended a school of arts for one year; I noticed some changes that I was not familiar with when I was at student at catholic school. While in catholic school we studied a curriculum that included science, math, language, and social studies, but religion was dominant over all the material. At the school of the arts, I studied the same materials but the religion was absent, instead we were offered creative classes such as dance, drama, band, and vocal chorus. In addition to the curriculum there were the projects, for example, the science fair and social studies fair projects. I have always liked to be unique and creative and I would use these projects to show that. I was even fortunate enough to be accepted to attend Martin Luther King Magnet High School, neither myself nor my parents had considered this as an opportunity. As a student at MLK, I learned I would have to push myself and give extra effort in order to make the grade. The educators believed in high quality learning objectives, as students we were required to analyze information and compare and contrast, instead of completing simple assignments where we would recall information. I studied seven or eight subjects per day and I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. My Future Plans For High School In a few months, I will make a huge decision that will help determine my future. I have many plans for high school; such as what classes I will take and what clubs I will join. But first I Have to take the entrance exams I have been studying for the high school entrance exams since the beginning of summer. My mom bought me three big texts books that will help with the High School Placement Test, Independent School Entrance Exam, and Secondary School Admission Test. Recently I have started going to a tutor that specializes in preparing students for the exams. I am applying for schools. My first one is Charter School of Wilmington. It is my first choice because it is two minutes from my house, so I would ride my bike. Also, it specializes in science which is my favorite subject, they are attached to an art school, which I also like to do, they have a good tennis team, and it is free. Archmere is my second choice. I like it there because it has a large campus that has buildings that are spread out like a college . Tower Hill is my third choice because it is next to my neighborhood. Also Tower Hill doesn't specialize in a specific subject it is an all –around school with art, music, math, science, and many more subjects. Friends is my fourth choice. I don't know much about Friends but i've heard it's a good school and will prepare for college. Padua is my backup school in case I don't get accepted into any other school. I am interested in Padu because I have only heard Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. My Experience In Secondary School Secondary school has been an unrelenting path. These four years of secondary school have had their excitements and their downfalls. My life had transformed into one that no individual could ever envision persevering through, an experience so unpleasant that it changed my philosophy and point of view. On September second, 2014, my grandfather passed away from a heart attack. He was a cherishing grandparent as well as a great motivator. He used to tell me "I see so much potential in you," and that is something I held on to all my life. Not only did my grandfather leave my family and me with an immense ethos, yet additionally left us with an extraordinary measure of dissatisfaction. In the meantime, with all this happening I had issues of my own in school. My marks were at their most minimal, and I was attempting my best to bring them back up. I was never too bright in subjects, for instance, Math or science. Regardless, that was an issue that I expected to oversee by stressing less and augment more in my studies. I decided to implement many techniques to help me focus in my studies; I tried to put my phone face down so I can become less distracted although, every time I hear a buzz and see a glimpse of the screen light up I feel tempted to unlock my phone and see the notification. I kept on attempting different strategies to enable me to succeed in focusing on my studies, yet nothing made a difference. I reached a point where I sold my electronic devices such as my phone Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. My High School Career Progression During my school career, I have excelled in science, math, and music. I enjoy these areas of study, and I like the challenge each disciple requires. I feel my background in these areas has prepared me to begin work on an engineering degree. During high school, I took AP math and science classes and did well on the AP exams. In addition, I took a robotics class for three years, and competed in the Texas ComputerEducation Association (TCEA) state robotics competition, two of the three years. In addition to academic classes, I was in the marching band and advanced concert band playing the most difficult part each season. I participated in the UIL state solo and ensemble contest and state marching contest multiple times. Once at Texas A&M, I joined Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. My Vision For My Future Classroom My Vision My vision for my future classroom is to create an atmosphere where each individual feels accepted and valued. It is my goal to discover ways to make learning innovative, enjoyable, creative, and rewarding. I will strive to discover my strengths, then use them to empower my students. Hopefully this leads to positive outcomes within each student and transforms the way my classroom operates. I would love to teach elementary level students, preferably grades 1–3, because that is my passion. In this type of classroom, I would teach the basics of every subject for that grade. I believe that I would excel with the variety that this role has to offer. I am open to teaching anywhere and in any type of school, due to the fact myeducation was both in public and parochial schools. If possible, I will use technology to enhance my teaching. I would love to incorporate technology into my classroom because it makes learning more efficient, increases student creativity, and creates endless learning possibilities by giving every student a customizable learning experience. Basic Information Splash Math is an app that helps kids review, improve, and refine their personal math skills. The basic app month trail is free, but if parents and teachers wish to use the app longer they must pay a monthly or annual rate. Also a teacher or parent account must be created before the child is allowed to play the app. However, this can be beneficial because adults may create individual profiles Get more content on HelpWriting.net
