IIM Ahmedabad
MBA Scholarships IIM Ahmedabad is the apple of every MBA aspirant’s eye when it comes
to management education in the country. Being the premier B-school of the country, the
institute also offers many different MBA scholarships for the students. Keeping this in mind,
we need to understand why scholarships are offered in Engineering, pure sciences, maths
and arts. This is because the institution giving the scholarship feels the needs to contribute
to the area of expertise to either establish itself as a place of higher learning for that
specialization or maintain its top position in the field of study. There are also occasions
when the field of study doesn’t get its due and therefore scholarships are provided to
worthy students who can pursue and keep the field alive by their contributions.
MBA is a professional course, it's not a science by itself, it’s more like a collection of moat
reliable and successful scientific approaches to solving management problems.
Another factor is that the course is so well known and we'll accepted that it has no problem
3. attracting scores of young students to pursue it.
Hence institution don't see a need to give scholarships to students for pursuing this course.
In fact, it's the opposite. Institutes strive to make their MBA program well known as it would
more or less be their biggest cash cow (highest profit maker).
If you get admission into an MBA course, banks will immediately be ready to give you a bank
loan. And that too without any collateral for up to inr 20 lakhs at 10%-11% interest rate
payable in 10-12 years.
