1 Overview of the Organization
1.1 Brief History
ILM Group of College Sargodha was established in 2008 under
chairmanship of the Professor Dr. Hassan Sohaib Murad, Rector of University of
Management & Technology, UMT From its inception it has been dedicated to
the cause of education to the youth. Since then it has successfully branched out
into many other cities of Punjab. ILM College blends a premium faculty with vast
experience and high repute to their credit. Such a highly qualified and
experienced faculty is duly supported by the best teaching aids.
1.2 Introduction of the Organization
ILM College Sargodha is a wonderful place of getting Education and making
bright future. While students stay here, ILM College teachers and mentors try
their best to impart quality education to students, equip with necessary skills and
prepare student for the rest of life. The basic objective and rationale behind the
foundation of ILM Colleges was to that of empowering new Pakistani generation
with knowledge-based schooling so that they realize their potential, discover
hidden talents and play their role for making Pakistan stronger and
unconquerable. ILM College is offering healthy and friendly environment where
every student receives full attention and is taken care of, from the point of view
of skill building, sharpening capabilities, getting more exposure to the courses
taught here and taking part in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in order
to become healthy, wealthy and wise.

Merit based scholarships are awarded at the time of admission while the
need based financial assistance can be requested during the course of study only
in exceptional circumstances. Some awards, however, are based on the academic

1.4 Competitors
Sargodha, having a fertile and rich soil, needed an institution of same
capability. The management of ILM College established the first Campus in the
year 2004. Success becameits destiny right fromits inception.
In a very short span of time, different Campuses for Commerce and Science
separately for Boys and Girls were established in the central locations. ILM
Colleges have all the facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, latest science and
computer labs, multimedia services and well-stocked libraries which will make it a
best college as compare to their competitors like Punjab College, Superior
College and ITM College Sargodha.

Nowadays, information and communication technologies are an important
part of daily routine for academic and non-academic staff. Most of us can't
imagine work without a functioning infrastructure and other services. Our main
task is to maintain and take care of the constantly developing information
technologies, follow modern trends and respond to current challenges, so we can
provide quality support for academic processes. In a relatively small team of
people, and in close cooperation with the faculties, our IT team is trying to ensure
that everything runs smoothly without any problems. Without your support and

The organizational structure of the ILM College Sargodha is very
strong as shown in the figure the complete hierarchy of the
organizational structure of this college. Everyone always fulfill their
responsibilities and task when given to them. A complete top down and
bottom up flow of communication is present in the structure of the
college.

Fee/Cash Receipt
Fee received from student and make a record in an excel file and also
record it into the databaseof the college
Cash Record/Expense Record
Expenses voucher are prepared and then cash paid against those voucher
are all recorded in a database and maintained by me in my internship period
Bank Deposit
I observed that Cash collected from the student against their fees dues are
then deposited into the bank at the time of my internship in ILM College
Sargodha
Prepare Bank statement
Beside bank deposit I also prepared a bank statement in which all the record of
the deposited dues enter there
Monthly Cash Expenses
I also have an experience to maintain a monthly cash expense book in which all
the expenses of the college are recorded

5 My learning from Internship
Gaining experience by applying my knowledge and skills in work related
situations. I have learned what I can do and what I need to work on in my
further studies. I have gain confidence in my own abilities.
Gaining the practical real work experience that employers like to see on a job
candidate's resume.
Clarifying my career goals with professionals helps make me a decision if the
field is for me or not.
Expanding my knowledgeby seeing how others are handling their problems.
Establishing a network of contacts, mentors, and references that will be of
value for future letters and support.

With the great environment of the college my communication skills are
improved a lot as the environment allows you to express your feelings and
ideas with your seniors.

A strong work ethic is vital to a company achieving its goals. Every employee
must have a good work ethic to keep the company functioning at its peak. A
work ethic is a set of moral principals an employee uses in his job. Certain
factors come together to create a strong work ethic. Like integrity sense of
responsibility, discipline etc.

ILM College environment was a complete source of learning as talking about
teamwork skills. Where I was taught how to work as a team and play yours role
to complete a task that was given to the team by the head.

The best thing I have learned from there is how to handle a pressure and fulfill

as numbers of students are moving towards it.

4. Opportunity
Continuing education for intellectual enrichment peoples.
A quality education is provided to the students.
A good salary package for the teaching and non teaching staff.
If offering post graduate programs in competitive market where at
college level no competitor is offered.
ILM College can be captured the market by offering M. Phil programs in
the particular location, where nobody offered.
8. Conclusions
In review this internship has been an excellent and rewarding experience. I
have been able to meet and network with so many people that I am sure will be
able to help me with opportunities in the future.
One main thing that I have learned through this internship is time
management skills as well as self-motivation. When I first started I did not think
that I was going to be able to make myself sit in an office for eight hours a day, six
days a week. Once I realized what I had to do I organized my day and work so
that I was not overlapping or wasting my hours. I learned that I needed to b
organized and have questions ready for when it was the correct time to get
feedback. From this internship and time management I had to learn how to
motivate myself through being in the office for so many hours.
9. Recommendations
The recommendations that I can made to the college is to offer other courses also
that will help the students for the betterment of their future.
