6. Whereas: A Sports Festival, with a particular focus on
Volleyball, will be held on the scheduled date as an official
competition for Isabela State University students.
Whereas: To promote sportsmanship and competitive spirit among
the students, the event aims to develop their skills and abilities in
the field of sports, particularly in the context of the competitions
held during the festival. In addition to fostering a healthy and
active lifestyle, the Sports Festival seeks to encourage teamwork,
discipline, and dedication among the participants, qualities that are
essential for success not only in sports but also in other aspects of
life. Through the various games and challenges, the students will
have the opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities, while
also learning from their experiences and improving their
performance. Overall, the event is an excellent opportunity for the
students to develop their physical, mental, and social capabilities,
and to have fun and enjoy the thrill of competition.
7. Objective:
aims to promote and defend the significance of Article
IV section 18 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution,
which highlights the state's role in fostering sports
and physical education initiatives for the growth of a
healthy and informed populace. The university is
assisting in the fulfillment of this constitutional
obligation by giving students a venue to participate in
a range of sporting events and contests. This also
helps to promote traits like self-control, cooperation,
and excellence in the participants. Additionally, the
occasion gives students a platform to display their
abilities and skills, with the possibility of developing a
career in sports or representing their university in
regional, national, and international competitions
