Manage a MIS team with expertise in Technical Business Knowledge; SQL Report Development and Analytics.
• Managed a team successfully meeting the G&O (Governance and Oversight) requirements including: Process
Narratives and Documentation, Metadata, Data Lineage, Data Integrity Validation Scripts and Establish
Process Controls at key risk points.
• Orchestrated the development and implementation of data warehouse via SQL Server. The data was divided
between Commercial, Mortgage and Consumer Loans: including: Historical (Jan 2006 – Current), Origination,
Servicing and Loss and Recovery systems. (Total current monthly balance $45 billion)
• Transitioned from over 500 hard coded and un-synchronized reports and processes to Web based SQL
reporting with real time filtering. The resulting reporting environment is more accurate, consistent between
reporting and ties back the General Ledger for WBR. Reporting System developed has embedded metadata.
• Managed a team that built a web based metadata application for documenting source feeds, data attributes,
reference data and field-level mapping rules.

WACHOVIA, Senior Vice President, Director of MIS STAR 2001-2009
Manage a MIS team with expertise in Technical / Business Knowledge; SQL Development and Metadata.
• Orchestrated the development and implementation of data warehouse(s) (4TB) representing the 7 Wachovia
Retail Lending Servicing systems in support of risk models that satisfy requirements of Basel II. The data was
conformed from over 45 sources inputs: Historical, Origination, Servicing and Default, Loss and Recovery
systems. (Total current monthly balance $300 billion)
• Participated in securitization deals worth in excess of $50 billion. MIS team provided and performed due
diligence on all data for deals composed of various type of collateral including mortgages, auto, credit cards,
equity lines and commercial loans.
• Regulatory Reporting (MIS expertise increased the Regulatory Capital benefit of 2nd Lien where we also hold
a 1st Lien by $1Billion. 50% reduction of Capital required)
FIRST UNION, Vice President Capital Markets Risk Management 1995-2001
Managed four IT personnel in the analysis, design, development and implementation of portfolio and risk
management databases and reporting systems to deliver information systems solutions.
• Utilized Rapid Application Development methodologies in designing and developing risk management and
portfolio analysis tools for risk analysts. Streamlined data remediation and production tasks, reducing
processing time from fifteen to five days.

• Performed a profitability analysis which allowed the company to detect and abandon a non profitable line of
business.
• Designed and developed a commission systems. This commission system not only provided sales staff with a
more accurate and informative system, but allowed a correlation and weighting of compensation to more
profitable lines of business for the company.
• Directed and managed a total system rewrite of the Customer Inquiry system. The average response time for
information retrieval was reduced from forty five seconds to four seconds. Presented this solution and
methodology before 200 IT professionals at a S1032 (Database system) users convention.

Enhanced an advanced simulation and analysis software package using FORTRAN.
• Responsible for continuing operation of this software package on an IBM mainframe.
