Main Projects:
Innovations (Jul 2015 - Jul 2016):Health CareProjectaiming to replacethe existingproducts,by combiningand restructuring
them technologically (migrating fromStructured Programming/ Waterfall to ObjectOrientation / AgileScrum).Marcia acted
as a Scrum Master in Brazilian teams, cultivating and managing competencies for disseminating the Agile culture; and also
as a team member in US teams.
Metavance (Nov 2005-Mar 2009 / Dec 2012-Dec 2015): Health Care system,where she initially worked as a BusinessAnalyst
and later on, as an Information Specialist and Technical Consultant, responsible for Technical Leadership and Mentoring of
local and International resources, also working with Crisis and Incident Management. She has actively participated in
designing and implementing Functional Requirements, being especially recognized in two occasions:
• When, by proposing change on the approach for a systemimprovement, it was possibleto achieve a saving of 80% of the
planned hours;
• When detecting a conceptual issue in the proposed methodology for expanding an existing feature, that would lead to a
projectfailureand would put the existingfunctionality in Production atrisk;Marcia could actleadingthetechnical meetings
that have designed the necessary changes. In this particular project there was an increase of working hours, but it was
possible to avoid major production incidents.
• Marcia also had the opportunity to actively participate in the company’s CMMI level 5 certification twice, producing
evidences and being interviewed by the Certificatory Team.
7-11 (Mar 2009 - Jul 2012): Production Support for 7-11 Mainframe Enterprise systems (Retail and Corporate).
After 1-month trainingin the US in 17 systems, she became responsiblefor the disseminatingthe technical knowledge and
co-coordinating the 7-11 Brazilian team.
After 6 months, Marcia had the opportunity of being promoted to SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the Billback system,
recognized for its high complexity and lack of specialistor documentation.
- In February 2010,a serious Production incidentin theBillback systemled to a data loss thatcompromised the suppliers’
payment in the order of more than $ 6 million. Marciawas convened to US to take the Technical Leadership of the team who
worked in the problem resolution.They could recover and reprocess the lostdata, enabling the additional payments for all
6 million to the affected suppliers,and we also managed restoring the database integrity. Efforts were made to prevent the
same problem of happening again in the future.

Hired as an IT Consultant, based on a perceived demand for "tailored systems", Marcia was ableto help the company in its
