July

2010
To
Whom
It
May
Concern,
Brian
Van
Den
Heuvel
worked
with
Healthcare
Learning
Services,
a
Zimmerman
company
from
January
2010
until
early
July
2010.
Brian
reported
directly
to
me
during
this
time.
In
brief,
Brian’s
role
consisted
of
documenting
our
client
hospitals’
revenue
cycle
processes,
making
recommendations
for
future
process
improvements,
and
packaging
the
documented
processes
in
a
manner
than
allowed
my
production
team
to
develop
highly
interactive
and
engaging
courses
to
our
hospital
clients,
so
that
we
could
consistently
train
hospital
employees
on
the
whats
and
hows
regarding
the
process
and
their
respective
job
responsibilities.
In
his
time
with
us,
Brian
demonstrated
a
strong
work
ethic,
often
times
working
on
weekends
and
late
in
the
evening
to
ensure
that
project
deliverables
were
completed
by
established
due
dates.
He
is
also
well
organized
and
demonstrated
an
ability
to
manage
multiple
priorities
well.
He
was
also
very
mindful
and
thoughtful
in
terms
of
our
clients’
goals
and
objectives.
As
we
experience
growth
throughout
the
HLS
service
line,
we
found
it
necessary
to
restructure
our
operating
model
to
better
serve
our
members
and
remain
profitable.
During
this
process,
we
decided
that
Brian’s
expertise
and
skill
set,
while
valuable
with
regards
to
the
position
he
was
hired
for
at
the
time,
was
no
longer
a
need.
That
said,
we
believe
Brian’s
skills
would
be
valuable
to
other
organizations
in
either
a
consulting
and/or
process
improvement
capacity
and
encourage
you
to
consider
him
for
any
positions
you
may
have
within
your
organization
that
fit
this
description.
Sincerely,
Nicholas
