I have been in the wine industry for 45 years having held positions in retail sales, supplier
representation, and wholesale middle and upper management (sales, general, purchasing,
supplier relations and logistics). Having work with Brian Moore for three years prior to my
retirement I have found his management skills are among the best I have experienced.
He was encouraging yet set high but realistic goals. Brian was always open to new ideas and
would seek them out from his sales staff and he was always quick to return calls and never
failed to have good suggestions. He was also a manager who understood structure and the
need for profitability.
My observations of his supplier relations skills were that he has a very deep understanding of
the needs of both sides and was willing to bend within reason to make sales happen as long as
profit remained within expected ranges. Brian has a creativeness in designing programs to
create growth in sales and distribution that I have rarely seen.
I do not hesitate to give Brian Moore my full support as I feel he would be an asset to any
organization.
