2. The theme for the proposal which I will be
doing is not really a theme as such, but will
be my portfolio work for interviews as such. I
will be selecting certain images throughout
what I have taken and I will talk about them
thoroughly and what I may or may not keep
the same though the means of editing. I will
create a contact sheet of every image I
have taken and present them within a
PowerPoint presentation and I will also
create a PowerPoint presentation on how I
have edited certain images I have.
4. Predicted final outcome
I am going to produce around 15-20 images
which I can put into my portfolio for both
interviews and college work. These images I
will be selecting will be edited and
presented in a professional way. I will also
choose images which I have taken myself
what I like which have not been edited and
present them within the proposal.
5. Reasons for selection of theme
Two artists I have really taken inspiration from
throughout going through this process are
David LaChapelle and Ansel Adams. Each
have their own individual style and way of
working which is different from what I have
seen. The theme of the photographs have
gone from simple and easy to do to more
creative and weird stuff which can include
both skulls, dolls heads and pieces of wood.
Each thing will make the work more fun and
interesting to do as I would like to see how it
would turn out.
8. DSLR 3100
The camera that I will be using throughout
the whole process of making my portfolio
will be the DSLR 3100. It is easy to use and
will enable me to do different techniques
within a photograph such as shallow depth
of field within images and will enable the
shutter speed in case I decide to use any
fast things to photograph. It is also east to
focus on the image I will be photographing
so I can either do shots such as wide shots or
even close ups.
