• If it modifies the adjective then we have to question that sentence with

Example: He is a very good boy.
• In the sentence ,
He runs swiftly.
Swiftly is an adverb
• But in the sentence
He runs very swiftly
Very Swiftly is an adverb.

them are called Adverb.

Little, two, ugly, hard,
naughty, rich, poor,
etc.

quality, number, state, quantity
about a noun/pronoun are
called adjectives.
