Bernice is currently a project administrator & manager on the Major projects TELECOMS project for Huawei &
MTN. Her responsibilities include assistance with project management and administration on the project. She
liase with Huawei on the MTN Bulk PO project for the Gauteng, Northern and Kwa-Zulu Natal regions, and
does all the Structural site visit scheduling, issue of reports, and are responsible to get the reports signed off
and invoiced.
Bernice was also the project administrator & manager on the DoE and National Treasury project for the IPP
Office from which all IPP Programmes are administered. She administrated all the different work streams on
which we received work from the IPP office, which included GAS, COAL, Grid connection and ISMO.
Bernice previously fulfilled a client relation position with Eskom on all the task orders received for the SRP
project. Her responsibilities include assistance with project management and administration on the projects.
She liaises with all the sub-consultants at Eskom, and is responsible for the legal contracts on projects.
She is the health and safety representative for het unit and is the co-coordinator for the quality audits of the
Management and Advisory unit.
She is also a fully trained MapInfo Professional GIS Software professional and her experience includes work
for national governments, local authorities and clients in the private sector. Bernice has been involved in
several significant projects, including the establishment of a spatial database for the Consolidated Municipal
Infrastructure Programme (CMIP) and backlog study for the Gauteng Provincial Government. She has also
provided training courses to various clients on MapInfo Professional GIS Software.
Bernice holds a BA Home Economics (Cum Laude) degree from the University of Pretoria and a BSc Retail
Management degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). She is also a registered GIS Technician with

Feasibility study for the Central Energy Fund (CEF) Solar Park (Northern Cape Province, South Africa)
10/2013 - 10/2014. Project Administrator. A consolidated feasibility study has been proposed to assess the
feasibility of the solar park and provide suitable framework and baselines to begin with procuring the first 1
GW solar park and the wider 5 GW solar corridor. Working in close relation to the project manager and project
director on client liaison, project management, invoicing of both sub-consultants and the client and budgets
internal and external. Formatting of all documents, manage the content server. Involved for 12 person-months.

Assessment of Government certificates of competency (South Africa) 02/2013 - 07/2013. Project Leader

Transport strategy and investment plan for the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa
(COMESA) (Africa (regional)) 2009 - 2010. GIS Specialist. Overall purpose of the study was to address
economic growth and poverty reduction in Eastern and Southern Africa. The intention was to achieve this
through higher levels of regional economic integration, by formulating and developing a strategy that focuses
on transport, communications and investment, culminating in a Transport and Communications Strategy

Soweto land regularisation study for the Johannesburg Property Company (JPC) (Gauteng, South
Africa) 2009. GIS Specialist. The project identified all land parcels in Soweto, which are owned by the Greater
Johannesburg Metropolitan Council, to institute the necessary procedures to ensure that the land parcels can
be transferred and to advertise, sell and transfer such parcels of land to identified beneficiaries. Involved for

Northam Wastewater Treatment Works Feasibility Study (South Africa) 2009. GIS Specialist. The project
optimised the allocation of the Northam WWTW. The project entailed allocation analysis in determining the

Mokolo Crocodile Water Augmentation Project feasibility study (South Africa) 2009 - 2010. GIS
Specialist. The project consisted of capturing of pipeline routes for the Mokolo and Crocodile (West) Water
Augmentation feasibility study and developing maps for presentations and reports. Duties included data
capturing, mapping and spatial analysis. Responsible for creating maps to assist the project leaders with

City of Tshwane Stormwater Integration Project Phase II (Gauteng, South Africa) 2009. GIS Specialist.
Project implementation plan to address the storm water ingress and the effects thereof. Responsible for

Sub-Saharan African Mapping Network (South Africa) 2007-2008. GIS Specialist. The project involved
reviewing the original criteria adopted by the SADC to define the regional trunk route network (RTRN). A
revised RTRN was recommended considering roads in SADC countries that provide connectivity with non -
SADC countries offering inter-regional links (like the DRC and Tanzania), , sections of the SADC RTRN that

are part of the Trans-Africa routes, the primary road network in Sub-Saharan Africa, and spatial development

The project identified all land parcels in Soweto, which are owned by the Greater Johannesburg Metropolitan Council, to institute the necessary procedures to ensure that the land parcels can be transferred and to advertise, sell and transfer such parcels of land to identified beneficiaries.
