What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
1.
2.
3.
4. Photoshop worked
really well and had
some specialist tools
to use.
We made the house
black and white and
faded it slightly.
We inputted the text
and photos.
We learnt how to use
many different effects
and apply them to the
film poster.
We used Adobe
Photoshop to create
our film poster.
5. We had to create an account
and we learnt how to upload a
PowerPoint and how we can
share it across many other
services.
This allows you to
upload PowerPoints to
the internet.
We used this to upload
our titles timeline.
The website had
glitches that
became irritating.
It also took a long
time to log in
causing many
problems.
6. We learnt how to edit the
pictures. We managed to use
tools which allowed us to
remove the background and
enhance the picture quality.
We used it to crop
around Megan for
the poster.
We used fireworks
to edit all of our
pictures.
I found it really easy
to use and had some
really good effects.
We edited the photo
shown on Megan's
phone showing no
contacts to be clearer.
We created text to
go onto the poster.
7. We sent out the
email to everyone
who took media and
some other friends.
We used is to
receive feedback
of our final draft
The survey did take a
long time to load up
some people could
get bored.
We received
responses back
through the
website.
We learnt how to
send out a survey
and manage the
reply's that we
received.
8. This is how we will
show all of our
work.
We learnt many things
when using this software.
We learnt how to post
onto the site and that we
can post no just text but
pictures and videos as well.
It works really well
and very rarely
crashes.
It is an online
timeline of
everything you
post.
You can upload
text, videos,
PowerPoint's,
Prezi’s and photos.
9. You create them online so
can be accessed from
anywhere.
It had some few problems
when using it. It kept on
crashing at some points.
We used them to pitch
our films to each other
and our main film pitch.
We learnt how to use Prezi
as non of us had used it
before. We learnt how to
save the presentation and
that we could embed it into
Blogger.
Can be embedded into
Blogger.
10. Videos can be
uploaded and
shared.
We can view other
schools projects for
ideas.
We uploaded our
videos then
embedded them to
Blogger.
We can show off our
production by
sharing the link.
We set up an
account to make us
able to upload and
share.
We had all used
YouTube before but we
did learn how to add
annotations and labels
onto the video.
11. We had never used Premiere before so
we learnt a lot from using it. We learnt
how to put many different effects and
transitions on the video and how to add
text and slow down or speed things up.
We also learnt how to add different layers
and have more that one clip showing at
once.
Premiere is an
editing software.
It was very professional
software and worked
well. Had no problems
with the software.
We also used it to
edit our prelim task.
We made a small
music video to help us
learn how to use the
software.
We used this to edit
our first draft, final
draft and any other
videos we created.
12. Audacity is a free
software that lets
you edit and record
sound.
Worked really well
and did not crash. It
was very simplistic
and easy to use.
We used this to do
voiceovers on our
work.
We used this
software on our
storyboard video.
We had used Audacity
at G.C.S.E ICT so we was
fermilliar with the
layout and what we
could do with the clips.
13. We used this camera to
film our opening.
We found it really easy
to use and gave a
steady shot.
It can also take still
images. We used this
camera to take all of
the pictures.
This is a Sony AVCHD
Camcorder
The camera was basic but as
we had never really used a
camera before it was new for
all of us but we picked it up
quickly. We also found a
feature that let us play back
what we had just recorded.
14. The tripod was easy
to attach to the
camera.
We found this really easy
to use which makes it a
good product and a good
piece of equipment to
use.
We found out that if
you lifted one of the
legs you could get a
really steady pan shot.
It was really useful for
when we had to put the
camera in a small spot so
we could get a very still
shot.
15. We used this USB stick
to transfer our work.
As the three of us were
working on different
computers, some files
could be too big to send so
we would transfer them.
We could also bring in
anything that we have
found or made at
home.
16. This was the computer
we used to do all of
our editing.
We edited our first
draft, final draft, poster
and all of our pictures
on here.
This computer has
specialist software on
it like Adobe Premiere
and Photoshop.
It is a Dell computer
with an inter i5
processor.
These computers are
found all over the
school so we had all
used them before
making it easier for us
to find our files.
We also uploaded
everything to Blogger
and YouTube from
here.
17. We used a green
screen for our
poster.
We took a picture of
Megan against the
green screen so we
could edit behind her.
This was the first time
we had used a green
screen so when it came
to editing it was a little
tricky tying to find out
what to do.
We then imported the
picture into Photoshop to
get rid of most of the green
then put it into fireworks to
remove the rest by hand.
This made it a lot
easier to edit and
saved us a lot of time.
18. We used this
phone for many
things.
We also used it to take
photos and email them
to ourselves so we can
then upload them.
We used it to be
Maddie’s phone in
the film opening.
As this is Megan's
iPhone 5, she knew
how to use it and it
saved us a lot of
time when email
across photos.
19. Ben Flatt also used
them a lot when he
was searching for
music for our film.
We used these
headphone in
every lesson.
We used these when
editing so we can
block out the sound
around us.
We also used them
to do voiceovers in
class.
We had also used these
headphones in other
subjects so we know how
to set them up and how to
recorded from them.
