The world is changing quickly. Schools are not
preparing young people for the future, they
aren’t even preparing them for the present. IEE’s
program gets young people into businesses,
working on real problems, developing practical
jobs skills, making international connections, and
helping them to establish their future.

Our Program
Our program is built to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in young people.
We develop skills that can’t be replaced by AI and make our students the
business and societal leaders our world needs. Plus unlike similar programs
we don’t teach these concepts in the abstract, students go into real
companies and work on real and current business challenges, making
meaningful connections in the process.
Work with companies like HigherMe,
Acronym Canada Inc and MYOB (plus
more) on their business challenges.
Present solutions to decision makers at
those companies.
Company Challenges

Travel is integral to developing a global
perspective and entrepreneurial
mindset.
International Perspectives
From business strategy to public
speaking we teach it. It’s like an MBA
program for High School students
working with leading experts in their
fields.

For the 15-17 age group our ratios exceed standards for summer camps.
Plus our staff caliber is higher than a sleepover camp. With 1 teacher
supervising along with our Executive Director you have a higher degree of
professionalism and training of staff compared to a traditional summer
camp. We also make sure students communicate regularly with staff, and
family. Student safety is our number one priority.

Students work in company offices for the majority of the day, and at night
are in the program residence. All locations are located in safe areas of very
safe cities. Students are always supervised in their activities and must be
reachable by cellphone at all times. All staff also undergo mandatory first aid
training, as well as training on working with young people.

Our fees cover the cost of travel medical insurance for all students in case of any
emergency. We also maintain an emergency fund in case students need to be brought
home due to disciplinary concerns or family emergencies. We will always prioritize
student safety and security regardless of cost.
Insurance and Contingency Funds
2
All staff have a police background check, Emergency First Aid training, and
professional experience with young people. One male and one female staff member
also ensure student safety. Sexes are not allowed in rooms of the opposite sex
(students and staff). We also have contingency staff in case any participant needs to
be escorted home by a staff member.

New Zealand and Canada are far apart. However students are never more than 36hrs
away in case of an emergency. We also encourage students to call home frequently
during their trip to keep in contact with friends and family. New Zealand and Canada
are also both very similar in their: culture, values, laws and are both extremely safe
countries. Auckland and Toronto both have consulates for Canada and New Zealand
respectively.
