This document provides an exemplar lesson plan for a kindergarten class focusing on plants in the environment. The lesson plan includes the following blocks of time:

2. Meeting time to introduce that plants have different parts using a puzzle activity.

Procedure:
1. Let the learners form groups with four members each.
2. One learner will stand straight with both arms stretched sidewards. S/He will be
the tree trunk. Two learners will hold on to the left arm of the tree and one
learners will hold on to the right arm.
3. A caller will say, “__ leaves are falling” (say a number from 1-10).
4. The corresponding number of leaves will run from one tree to another. The caller
will also run to a vacant tree. The learner without a tree will be the next caller.
