What is the evidence of global warming. The main piece of evidence is that there is a global warming, another is the fact that the greenhouse gases are increasing in amount, the red line is temperature and the blue line is Carbon Dioxide. As you can see from about the industrial era both lines have been moving upwards, though the temperature is more erratic.
Other evidence of global warming is the sea level rises. The seas have been rising because of melting ice and the Antarctic melting, this could be disastrous because if the sea levels rise enough then it could spell the end for the land masses
The greenhouse effect is where shortwave radiation, or insolation, gets absorbed by the earth’s surface and then reradiates out as long wave radiation and then gets absorbed into the greenhouse gases, for example carbon dioxide. This is normally fine, but when humans create an excess of greenhouse gases then the earth traps heat faster, causing a warming.
I talked about the gases on the previous slide, but what are the gases, well the main one is carbon dioxide, but there are many more, including methane and carbon monoxide
Global warming has many bad effects including disease, droughts, freak weather and floods. There are some positives like a longer growing season but the negatives far out way these
To stop global warming, use more biodegradable recourses and use alternative energy sources. Reuse things and use less energy on a day to day basis
