• Big Bazaar is an Indian retail store that operates as a
chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores,
and grocery stores.
• Bazaar was founded in 2001 by Kishore, the founder
and chief executive officer (CEO) of the parent
company, the Future Group.

Big Bazaar is a chain of hypermarkets in India.
 The stores occupy an area which ranges from
anywhere between 80000 to 220000sq. ft. and offer
a variety of food products like clothes, hardware,
sports equipment, books, CDs, DVDs, TVs,
electrical equipment and computers etc.

• Main objective of the store layout is to maximize the
interface between customers and merchandise” It provides
easy accessibility to the customers to view the offerings of
