PROJECT DETAILS
1. Tertio Service Activation:
Tertio Service Activation solution is a high performance, multi-domain, next-generation service
activation and service-provisioning product.
More than 40 operators in 34 countries currently using Tertio solution. Few of the major operators are
Alfa, Cable & Wireless, H3G, Inmarsat, Indosat, Maxis, Millicom, MTN, Swisscom, T-Mobile, Telenor,
Vipnet, Virgin Media and Vodafone.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Development and Maintenance of Existing Product.
 Fixing real-time issues in product:
Issue: Customers raise some of the real time issues seen in the product.
Process: These issues are handled by analysis, required code change, code review and release of a
patch to the product. This is the maintenance and support to development of product. Customer
interaction and fixing existing bugs in code are major parts of this maintenance phase.
Fixes: The issues may be due to missing parameter, exception handling, and missing implementation
of commands, not responding processes, irregular behavior of some processes, agents not
responding, timeout conditions, platform dependencies, compatibility with other system and
change in implementation.
Customer Communications: Was dealing with the customers like Telefonica Mexico, Millicom
Guatemala, Chad, Senegal, MTN Nigeria, CW Panama, And toughest customers like Vodafone
Greece, Swisscom, EE UK and H3G UK etc. Setting up weekly meetings with customers, explaining
the issues occurred, root cause of the issue, and possible solutions and code changes.
Installations on Customer platforms: Installed many of the Tertio patch/package updates on
customer platforms successfully without any issues.
 Product upgrade: Though this was not part of my Team responsibility but on the company
requirement I was involved in Product upgrade to latest Tertio version for Vodafone Albania and
Greece. Under this I installed and configured the latest Tertio version for Customer.
2. Dynamic SIM Allocation:
Dynamic SIM Allocation (DSA) is a solution for activating a new SIM card the first time it is used. DSA
allows handset driven activation of SIM cards provided by network operators thus avoiding the need for
the costly task of pre-provisioning network equipment
It allows a Telecom Service Provider to give the leverage to the user to choose its mobile number
(MSISDN) dynamically after buying the SIM and having some Menu interaction with the help of base
station and home HLR/VLR.
Few of the Major operators using DSA are Airtel, MTN, Mobily, Claro, Movistar, Globe, Telefonica and
Smart.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Development and Maintenance of Existing Product.
 Fixing real-time issues in product.
 Setup of new system: Again this was not the responsibility of my team but as per company
requirement got involved in setup of new system from scratch.
Under this I was responsible for installing and configuring the new DSA system, integration of
the product with other application and network.
I also traveled to client site for onsite system testing and supporting the customer for UAT.
Major systems which I handled as part of implementation team are Airtel India, Airtel Uganda,
Airtel Burkina-Faso and Airtel-Tanzania.
3. Total Number Management:
Total Number Management (TNM) is a scalable and fully automated system that enables operators to
reliably and efficiently manage their telephone numbers i.e. SIMs, MSISDNs, IMSIs, and ICCIDs.
TNM focuses on the automation of all number resources, which enables operators to adhere to
regulatory requirements and effectively manage the lifecycle of telephone numbers, as well as benefit
from time savings and a reduction in costs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Development and Maintenance of Existing Product.
 Fixing real-time issues in product.
ACHIEVEMENTS AS AN EVOLVING EMPLOYEE:
 Started career with Support team, and delivered many fixes effectively within the given service
target.
 Handled 250+ issues successfully and provided fix for all the issues within 1.5 year of joining the
team after the Product training.
 Resolved 500+ issues till date.
 Got appreciations from clients and peers for implementing and delivering solutions with aggressive
deadlines and actively participate in new idea club of evolving.
 Received SPOT EXCELLENCE award as fresher in 2013.
 Received INDIVIDUAL AWARD for resolving most number of issues in 2014.
 Received the “BEST PERFORMER OF THE YEAR” award for the year 2015.
 Received “EXCELLENT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” along with bonus in year 2016.
