Project Title : Light Speed (AT&T)-STAR
Client : AT&T, USA
Role : Team Member of Light Speed STAR team.
Skill : Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, Propagation and CR Planning and execution.

Description : AT&T is the world’s leading source of Telecommunication information and insight on businesses.
AT&T uses its AT&T U-verse Order Management System to keep track of customers, accounts, credit verification,
product delivery, billing, etc. This software is used by the company to order the services to its customers.
LightSpeed is an initiative for providing customer the facility of having IPTV, High speed internet (broadband) and
Voice over IP at the same time so that the customers have more options to choose and also at the same time have
more flexibility. OMS stands for Order Management System. It is developed by Amdocs. It is one of the core
subsystems of Light speed. OMS is responsible for order management and service provisioning for Light speed.
In STAR project two more services are also added “DTV” and “Wireless”. In STAR project, more focus is on the DTV
(DIRECTV).
Responsibilities:
 Efficiently prepared & sent Daily Status (EOD mails) Report to Onshore Team.
 Executed assigned test suites and follow up with Development Team for Bug Reports and fixation.
 Coordinating with Infra and DBA team for EF installation and maintaining different environment as per
Requirement.
 Performing Regression testing, functionality testing, Production Support.
 Conducting internal training and KT sessions for fresher and active member of Amdocs leaning club.
 Developing Test cases, looking out for the defects, tracking & communicating test results, analysis &
unresolved problems using test management tool QC.

OVALS (One View Address and Location Validation System) - It is a database using Geographical Information
System (GIS) technology in determining the customer location information. It not only help in locating installation
and repair sites more quickly but to also have more access to fibre, technicians and facilities.
Equifax - Credit rating agency who is primary responsible for maintaining the financial history of the customer.
SAP (ERP EPIC) - Used for Equipment storage. SAP is the Enterprise Resource Planning system that holds CPE
(Customer Premise Equipment) inventory.
