1. Japan Society during the
Medieval
. Japan is considered one of the most countries that
created good comic books, cartoon and technology. But
what they do not know is that Japan adapted many
aspects of Chinese cultures and government. For
example, they adapted the religion of Buddhism; and
ideographic writings which are normal writings but
represented by symbols. Aristocratic Japanese women
were taught to read and write Japanese, not Chinese.
One famous author is Musarasaki Shikibu, who wrote
Genji Monogatori (Tale of Genji). During the Ashikaga
period, many Japanese were converted to Christianity
with the offer of European trade goods. But this did not
last longer and many Christianity were expelled fro
Japan. Only 2% of Japanese population were Christian.
The rest had to decide whether to be Buddhist or
Shinto.

2. Japan geographic during
the Medieval
. During the Heian period, and emperor called
Kammu brought peace to Japan. Unfortunately
this peace did not last long. Japan become a
feudal nation of antagonistic warlords because
of battles erupted throughout Japan. The
Bushido Code was created consisting on the 7
virtues all samurais must follow. Samurais are
warrior vassals that represent courage. The
Mongol armies almost captured Japan, but a
strong storm forced the Mongols to go back to
Korea. A second attack happened, but another
storm helped Japan. After these battles, Japan
went in economic chaos.
