- 1. Schizophrenia is a Thought Disorder.
- 2. Schizophrenia is a thought disorder. It is known as disorganized thoughts. This typically includes thought disturbances and incoherence. We may understand this in two forms. The first one is Thought Content, which includes hallucinations and delusions.
- 5. These thought disorders happen to the schizophrenic mind in a challenging social cognition process that involves one of the following problems in how thought is created and perceived.
- 6. - Thought Suppression - Thought Manipulation - Thought Broadcasting - Thought Insertion - Thought Blocking - Unbidden Thoughts
- 7. Another way of thinking about the thoughts in disorganized thoughts is trying to understand them in terms of hallucinations. For example, Thought Insertion might be something that happens when you gain ownership and agency of hallucinations, that is when it feels like your mind generated the thoughts and that the thinking happened inside your own mind. The inserted thoughts might be the hallucinations themselves, this time happening in the realm of your own mind. And they are experienced as alien thoughts.
- 8. HALLUCINATIONS ARE THOUGHTS, BROADCASTED THOUGHTS. THE HEALTHY WAY OF COMMUNICATION SHOULD BE PERCEPTION AND THE HEALTHY WAY OF THINKING SHOULD BE IMAGINATION. HALLUCINATIONS ARE INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS THAT STAND IN WAY OF CLEAR IMAGINATION OR CLEAR COMMUNICATION.

THESE BROADCASTED HALLUCINATORY THOUGHTS MAY BLOCK OTHER THOUGHTS BEFORE THEY INTENSIFY AS THOUGHT BLOCKING, MAY MAKE THOUGHTS DISAPPEAR AFTER THEY INTENSIFY AS THOUGHT WITHDRAWAL, MAY INTENSIFY AND MAKE THEIR WAY THROUGH TO THE MIND AS THOUGHT INSERTION, MAY BE SUPPRESSED AS THEY FIGHT FOR ATTENTION AS THOUGHT SUPPRESSION, MAYBE MIXED, OBSCURED, CHANGED OR DISTURBED AS THOUGHT MANIPULATION. AND THESE THOUGHTS MAY BE HEARD BACK BEING BROADCASTED. PSYCHOTIC PEOPLE EXPERIENCE THESE OFTEN.
- 10. Let’s elaborate more on thought insertion. An inserted thought is a thought which is experienced as unwanted or undesirable at the time of thinking. Existing thoughts might be inserted back or remembered, that is, accessed from memory when they are not needed. New thoughts are inserted when your mind actually thinks that they are undesirable.

- 13. As I tried to explain in my last article, How to understand thought insertion in Schizophrenia, Thought insertion occurs in a social cognition process. It is one part of the theory of the mind. I also want to call it a social normalization process. Schizophrenic thoughts are in some way deviant thoughts from the norm. They often try to look for answers and understand their environment.
