Greeting: Sing a song “Good morning”
To make collaborative environment
 To make up a circle, to draw smile on their cards
and wish your partner something good
 To divide into 3 groups
Activities to revise the vocabulary from the previous
module.
 According to the need of each group involve learners
ask and answer each other`s questions. What is this?

 Ask a pupil to come to the front and sit with his/her
back to the active board. Whisper the name of an animal

 Individual work
 Ask individual pupils to say the
words. Pupils books open. Play the
CD. The pupils listen, point to the
pictures and repeat the words. Play the CD again
pausing after each word. The pupils repeat, chorally
and/or individually.
 To divide into pairs using thread

 Write. Talk with your friend.
Refer the pupils to the pictures and explain the activity.
Point to the first picture and ask: What’s this? Elicit:
cheese. Follow the same procedure for the remaining
items. Then explain to the pupils that they have to
complete each blank by unscrambling the letters.
Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity.
 Check their answers.
Answer key.
(1 cheese 2 eggs 3 milk 4 juice 5 chicken 6 bananas)
Point to the milk on the poster. Then rub your tummy,
say and write: I like milk. Yum! The pupils repeat after
you. Point to another food item, make a face and say:
I don’t like (bananas). Yuk! Ask individual pupils to
make similar sentences about the food items they have
learnt in the lesson.
Explain to the pupils that they can refer to the sentences
at the bottom of the page or the ones on the board for
help. Go around the classroom providing any
necessary help. Ask some pairs to report back to the
class.
I’ve got some cheese for you.
I like cheese. Yum!
I’ve got some bananas for you.
I like bananas. Yum! ect.

Point to the milk and the cheese on the poster and rub
your tummy and say: I like milk, I like cheese ! The
pupils repeat after you. Follow the same procedure
and present the rest of the song.

pupils some time to complete the activity. Check their

chorally and /individually. Assign roles and ask
individual pupils to read the dialogue out loud.

 Listen and read
Tell the pupils they are going to play a game called
Chinese Whispers. Explain the rules. Approach a pupil
at the front desk and whisper a food item. Ask him/her
to whisper the same word to his/her partner, who then
whispers it to the next pupil, ect. Ask the lest pupil to
call out the word. Check if it is correct. Repeat the
procedure as many times as you think is necessary.

All learners will be able to:  Name some foods Most learners will be able to:  Say name of some foods with “I’ve got”. “I like…/I don’t like” Some learners will be able to:  To tell what food they have in 3 languages: English, Kazakh and Russian  Play role using new lexical material Cross-curricular links Math, Art, Music, Kazakh, Russian, English, Literature ICT-links Interactive Board, Flashcards, Poster, video and audio material, pictures, photo , Internet resources Previous learning ABC ,Pets Plan Planned timings Planned activities Resources Beginning 5 minutes Greeting: Sing a song “Good morning” To make collaborative environment  To make up a circle, to draw smile on their cards and wish your partner something good  To divide into 3 groups Activities to revise the vocabulary from the previous module.  According to the need of each group involve learners ask and answer each other`s questions. If we can eat it pupils should clap their hands, if we cannot eat - stamp your feet  Assessment: “Traffic light”  Video “ Train of fruits”  Group work Poster Pupil’s book closed. Put up the “My Food” posters on the pepper. o 1 team: Train of food o 2 team: Basket of food o 3 team: House of food - Point to each item (milk, cheese, bananas, juice, eggs, chicken); - present them. - The pupils repeat, chorally and/or individually. - Then point to each item in random order.  Assessment:  Stickers (*- понравилось, хорошо, вообще не интересно)  2 stars and 1 wish  Break.   • 3.  Individual work  Ask individual pupils to say the words. Pupils books open. Play the CD. The pupils listen, point to the pictures and repeat the words. Play the CD again pausing after each word. The pupils repeat, chorally and/or individually.  To divide into pairs using thread  Pair work  Write. Talk with your friend. Refer the pupils to the pictures and explain the activity. Point to the first picture and ask: What’s this? Elicit: cheese. Follow the same procedure for the remaining items. Then explain to the pupils that they have to complete each blank by unscrambling the letters. Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity.  Check their answers. Answer key. (1 cheese 2 eggs 3 milk 4 juice 5 chicken 6 bananas) Point to the milk on the poster. Then rub your tummy, say and write: I like milk. Yum! The pupils repeat after you. Point to another food item, make a face and say: I don’t like (bananas). Yuk! Ask individual pupils to make similar sentences about the food items they have learnt in the lesson. Explain to the pupils that they can refer to the sentences at the bottom of the page or the ones on the board for help. Go around the classroom providing any necessary help. Ask some pairs to report back to the class. I’ve got some cheese for you. I like cheese. Yum! I’ve got some bananas for you. I like bananas. Yum! ect.  Assessment: claps  Sing the I like milk song Point to the milk and the cheese on the poster and rub your tummy and say: I like milk, I like cheese ! The pupils repeat after you.   • 4. Play the CD. The pupils listen to the song. Play the song again. The pupils sing along. Pupils translate words of food in Kazakh and Russian AUDIOSCRIPT I like milk, I like cheese, I like bananas, And bananas like me! Cheese and milk, Milk and cheese, And bananas, Nana- nana- nana- na!  Assessment: “THUMB”  Role play P1: What food do you like? P2: I like….. P1: What do you have? P2: I have…. Assessment: Stickers with mark (smiles) and claps  Individual work  Tick. Explain the activity. The pupils look at the pictures, read the dialogue silently and tick the pictures of the food items that appear in the dialogue. Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity. Check their answers Answer : milk, cheese eggs. Play the CD again pausing for the pupils to repeat, chorally and /individually. Assign roles and ask individual pupils to read the dialogue out loud. Ending 10 minutes Reflection (An activity to consolidate the language of the lesson)  Look and find - Check ourselves  Assessment: criteria  7-8 words – Отлично. Ты молодец!  5-6 words – Хорошо, но есть еще над чем поработать  1-4 words – Учи слова!!!  Listen and read Tell the pupils they are going to play a game called Chinese Whispers. Explain the rules. Approach a pupil at the front desk and whisper a food item. Ask him/her to whisper the same word to his/her partner, who then whispers it to the next pupil, ect. Ask the lest pupil to call out the word. Check if it is correct. Repeat the procedure as many times as you think is necessary. Assessment: claps  “Tree of success” Each pupil draw his apple in Pupil’s book p.72 ex.2
