• ADIDAS is the German company a marketer of
sports and athletic shoes.
• The company was founded in 1924 by brothers
Adolf and Rudolf Dassler
HISTORY
• They first named the brand Dassler Shoes.
• In 1948 Rudolf decide to started his own company name PUMA.
• Then in 1949 Adolf changes his company name to ADIDAS “ADI” from his nickname
and “DAS” from Dassler.
TARGETING
• It’s main target is youth.
• The consumer is from middle and upper class.
• The consumer is working and sports.
• The consumer also fashionable and stylish.
