4.  Tobacco smoking is the practice of burning Tobacco and inhaling the
Smoke (consisting of particle and gaseous phases). The practice was believed to begin as
early as 3000 – 5000 BC .

5. Tobacco was introduced to Eurasia in the late 17th century where it followed
common trade routes. The practice encountered criticism from its first import into
the Western world onwards.
 German scientists identified a link between smoking and lung
cancer in the late 1920s , leading to the first anti-smoking
campaign in modern history, albeit one truncated by the collapse
of the Third Reich at the end of the Second World War.
 Eurasia is the combined continental
landmass of Europe and Asia. The term is
a portmanteau of its two constituents.

a chemical substance that has known biological
effects on humans.
 In pharmacology, a drug is “a chemical substance used in the treatment, cure,
prevention, or diagnosis of disease or used to otherwise enhance physical or mental
well-being.”
 About Drugs :
 HIV / AIDS can be Cure and Treated by
Specific Drugs. And Drugs also use to
Diagnose Disease.
 Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor. It is
used to reduce the production of stomach
acid.

10.  Psychoactive drugs are chemical substances that affect the function of the
nervous system, altering perception, mood or consciousness. Alcohol, nicotine, and
caffeine are the most widely consumed psychoactive drugs worldwide.
 Caffine contains in coffee and other
beverages. And about 85% population of the
world consumes this Physcoactive Drugs.
 Cigarettes, containing nicotine, are one of
the world’s most widely consumed drugs.

11.  Recreational drugs are drugs that are not used for medicinal purposes,
but are instead used for pleasure. Some drugs can cause addiction and
habituation and all drugs can cause side effects.
 White powder is an addicted drugs, and
contains a deadly side effects as well.
 Charas is the name given to
a hashish form of cannabis which is
handmade in India,
Lebanon, Pakistan, Nepal and Jamaica. It is
made from the resin of the cannabis plant
(Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica).
 Dry Cannabis is used for taking as a
Recreational Drugs and have a deadly effects
on human being. Also called as Marijuana in
past and present also.

 About Alcoholic Beverages :
 It is one of the most widely
used recreational drugs in the
world. In the United States 89%
of adults have drunk alcohol.
Alcoholic beverages are
typically divided into three
classes—beers, wines, and
spirits—and typically contain
between 3% and 40% alcohol by
volume.

Wine is a fermented beverage
produced from grapes. Wine
involves a longer fermentation
process than beer and also a
long aging process (months or
years), resulting in an alcohol
content of 9% – 16% ABV.
Beer is a beverage fermented
from grain mash. It is made
from barley or a blend of several
grains. If the fermented mash is
distilled, then the beverage is
a spirit. Beer is the most consumed
alcoholic beverage in the world.

A distilled beverage or liquor is an alcoholic beverage produced by distilling (i.e:
concentrating by distillation) ethanol produced by means of fermenting grain,
fruit, or vegetables.Unsweetened, distilled, alcoholic beverages that have an
alcohol content of at least 20% ABV.
The most common distilled beverages, such as
whiskey and vodka, the alcohol content is around
40%.

17. Alcoholic beverages are classified by the ”International Agency for Research
on Cancer” (IARC). IARC classifies alcoholic beverage consumption as a cause
of colorectum, larynx, liver, esophagus, oral cavity, and pharynx cancers; and
as a probable cause of pancreatic cancer.
