S6 ECE students at Trinity College of Engineering organized a two-day LED cube workshop led by Krishannunni, CEO of Ricardo Technix, to teach 30 students and some from LBS College of Engineering the basics of electronics hardware and Arduino programming. On the second day, students successfully assembled LED cubes and learned Arduino programming, circuit making, and soldering basics. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering also organized an industrial visit for fourth semester B.Tech Electrical students to the 340 MW Sabarigiri Hydro Electric Station to get familiar with power generation and they also enjoyed a boat ride, and visited Wonderla Amusement Park and Lulu Mall as part of the trip.

3. TRINITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of Trinity College of Engineering, organized an Indus­
trial visit for fourth semester B.Tech Electrical students to 340 MW Sabarigiri Hydro Electric Station at
Moozhiar near Pathanamtitta on 27 Jan, 201 8. It is the second largest hydro electric project in Kerala.The
main purpose for this visit was to get familiarized with industrial environment and to get practical knowl­
edge of electrical power generation. After that students along with faculty enjoyed ‘Kuttavanchi ride’
(bowl boat / coracle boat) which is near to the power station.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT
As part of the trip, the team also visited Wonderla Amusement Park, Kochi on 26thJanuary 201 8. . After
that the students traveled in Kochi Metro train and visited Lulu Mall.
