project from CSIR-NIIST to optimize the
Squeeze Casting process using Ansys soft­

Artificial Intelligence based
Floor Cleaning Robot
"Artificial Intelligence based Floor Cleaning Robot"
- A project work of S8 ECE students, under the guid­
ance of 'Letmac Innovations' is ongoing in the ma­
chines lab. Various assemblies of the Cleaning
Robot viz 'The Ultra sound sensor' for obstacle sens­
ing, 'Lead screw mechanism' for self cleaning of the
floor cleaning head, 'A 12 volt pump' etc. are being
fabricated. The product is designed keeping in
mind, the requirements for cleaning of floors and
corridors in multi-storied buildings.
