Project Description
For Bank of America gets trades data from different clients in the
form of files. These files will be loaded to stage database using
SQL LOADER and the data from stage to reporting will be loaded
using PL/SQL procedures and packages. All these steps are
scheduled using CONTROL-M scheduling tool. Every day jobs
will run at 7:00 PM PST and performs all the above steps.
Once the data is in reporting database, BO team uses this data
for reporting and sends it to business.
Responsibilities
• Need to write SQL and shell scripts to load the data from files to
stage database.
• MQ Configuration for the Trade Message flow
• Perform end-to-end testing of patches in OAT, SIT, UAT
environments
• Developed Data Quality Dashboard for job status and Task

This Project is implemented to scan messages and generate alerts
when any counterparty information on MQ messages match entries
on the World check watch list and any internal watch lists while

The solution will continue to be used for interactive searching of
watch lists through the Norkom GUI and this functionality is to remain
unchanged.

• Opening a Locker Facility where these documents are not
available with the bank for all the Locker facility holders. When
the bank feels it necessary to obtain additional information from
existing customers based on conduct of the account
• When there are changes to signatories, mandate holders,

• AOC will also be carried out in respect of non-account holders
approaching the bank for high value one-off transactions.

• Performing and coordinating database and environment sanity

Project Description All Financial organizations need to perform KYC (Know Your
Customer) verification for every potential relationship before its
commencement. Once a relationship has been established, there is a
risk that an existing customer may subsequently be added to a
watch-list.
Detica CMR screens existing SCB customer data in electronic format
against various watch-lists using Fuzzy Logic. The matches results in
alert generation which will be examined by the CMR users.
In Business Objects Reports and Data Extraction, development of
various crystal reports and Excel format extracts for the CMR
application. The project focuses on support and enhancement of the

application.
Responsibilities
• Provide the highest level of support in a three-tiered and two-
tiered technical support model
• Handle a range of the most difficult or advanced problems
• Configure different SCB countries in PROD environment
• Create different country local lists in production that is specifically
maintained for each country under different priorities
• Interface different source systems into PROD environment
• Develop automated Linux scripts to validate and restructure data
into SCB specific formats
• Automate Daily Health Check activity for monitoring Oracle DB
table spaces, Linux file systems space availability, Batch Run File
Loading completion and Housekeeping activities in the servers
using Shell Scripts
• Create Oracle Packages and Procedures for different
requirements
• Development of relevant reports using Crystal Report
• Perform end-to-end testing of patches in OAT, SIT, UAT
environments
• Deploy the tested patches and ear files using the middleware
‘WebSphere’
• Handle application individually and co-ordinate with
Business/Users from different SCB countries during the Disaster
Recovery Drill (DR Drill)
• Perform Capacity Planning on regular intervals and deal with
CPM team for raising DASD to ensure that the Application, Batch,
Database and Gateway servers run out of risk
• Maintain focus on high quality deliverables while working under
pressure situations to meet SLA's of the application on the
production and UAT environment
• Management of the remedy tickets and resolution of the tickets
with different priorities with appropriate solutions
• Raise CR’s (Change Request) for all the Application
Enhancements, Business New Requirement, Patch Deployment
and ensure that the application runs with compliance
• Core member of the GFCR (Group Functions Crime Risk) team in
which the Business and the Technology team meets to discuss
the enhancements of the application
• Assist various countries Business Unit in providing different
extracts during their Audit visit
• Manage and ensure SCM suite application patch consistency

Responsibilities • Provide the highest level of support in a three-tiered and two- tiered technical support model • Handle a range of the most difficult or advanced problems • Configure different SCB countries in PROD environment • Create different country local lists in production that is specifically maintained for each country under different priorities • Interface different source systems into PROD environment • Develop automated Linux scripts to validate and restructure data into SCB specific formats • Automate Daily Health Check activity for monitoring Oracle DB table spaces, Linux file systems space availability, Batch Run File Loading completion and Housekeeping activities in the servers using Shell Scripts • Create Oracle Packages and Procedures for different requirements • Development of relevant reports using Crystal Report • Perform end-to-end testing of patches in OAT, SIT, UAT environments • Deploy the tested patches and ear files using the middleware ‘WebSphere’ • Handle application individually and co-ordinate with Business/Users from different SCB countries during the Disaster Recovery Drill (DR Drill) • Perform Capacity Planning on regular intervals and deal with CPM team for raising DASD to ensure that the Application, Batch, Database and Gateway servers run out of risk • Maintain focus on high quality deliverables while working under pressure situations to meet SLA's of the application on the production and UAT environment • Management of the remedy tickets and resolution of the tickets with different priorities with appropriate solutions • Raise CR’s (Change Request) for all the Application Enhancements, Business New Requirement, Patch Deployment and ensure that the application runs with compliance • Core member of the GFCR (Group Functions Crime Risk) team in which the Business and the Technology team meets to discuss the enhancements of the application • Assist various countries Business Unit in providing different extracts during their Audit visit • Manage and ensure SCM suite application patch consistency Solution Environment Linux 5, Windows XP, Crystal Report XI, WebSphere 6.1, TOAD 9.1, BMC Remedy AR System 7.5, SCM, DETICA Portal Page 4 of 5
