operations and maintenance of Dynamic Equipment (Rotating and Reciprocating) At
PDVSA Venezuela. Experience of 17 years in detail engineering for offshore plants.

Technical Manager and later as General Manager.

 Practical knowledge of industry standards and codes (API, ASME/ANSI, NEMA,

 Dynamic Equipment Plant and Arrangement selection. Support project teams with
the development of safe, efficient, and reliable equipment designs by assisting
with specification development, bid evaluation, vendor drawing reviews, and EPC
deliverable products reviews and comments in accordance with spec and best
practices.
 Working with OEM in the C160 Compressor bearing re-designs from Tilting Pad
to Flex Pad bearing and increasing the reliability from 72% to 98% in such fleet.
 Elaboration of technical specs, design and audits to develop, deploy, and
maintain Rotating Equipment specifications, design best practices, operational
practices & procedures for use by the Company manufacturing and repair
facilities and projects.
 Development of recommended spare parts purchases for new projects and
existing equipment.
 Writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to serve a broad range of
company business leaders, project teams, and its contractors.
 High Proficiency level in MS Office.
 As PDVSA’s Senior Rotating Specialist (HAY SCALE 30+ - Top Ranked
Specialist), has the ability to work from a position of credible influence based on
rotating equipment knowledge versus a position of authority.
 Top level Technical and Commercial analysis of bidding process though his
developed methodology and procedure of comments and clarifications.
 PHA/HAZOP, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability Modeling studies (RAM)
