problems .

following fact.
 GDP Rate remaind at 5.28%.
 Agriculture sector’s growth rate turned 3.46 , industrial sector5%, service sector 5.98% and
product sector 4.26%.

3. Main Issues of Pakistan Economy
 We consume more and save less:
1. Out of every hundred rupees of our national income , we
consume 85 rupees and save only 15 rupees.
2. Pakistan savings rate is 6% we need at least 24-25%
investment rate to grow and if we want to rely on domestic
savings our savi gs rate should be 25 %.
 share in world trade:
1. Our share in world trade is shrinking.
2. In 1990 Pakistan’s share was 0.2% of the world trade.
3. After 20 years it has came down to 0.12% .

4.  Problems of Agriculture :
1. Insufficient rural infrastructure.
2. Irregular supply of farm inputs.
3. Plant diseases.

towards better economic management.

imports like industrial Inputs, Fuel,And essential food.
 Poverty :
1. Poverty Is about not having enough Money to meet basic needs including Food ,
clothing, and shelter.
2. Poverty rate is very high in pakistan.The amount of money the government Is less
than To cater the needs of Poor people.
3. Government is not spending wisely on poor people .
