• A preliminary interview is an initial meeting to gather basic
information about how an applicant's goals, skills and
qualifications can benefit a company's needs.
“THIS INTERVIEW IS TO SEE WHETHER APPLICANTS ARE
SUITABLE FOR THE COMPANY BY BOTH MENTALLY AND
PHYSICALLY”.

Measure and individual’s capacity to
learn a particular skills.
It test the mental ability of candidate. Test
for measuring their power to take quick
decisions.
These tests judge the
psychological make-up of any

sympathy, sensitivity, etc.
These test will suggest what
type of jobs may be satisfying to
the employee. It help the
individuals in selecting
occupations of their interest.
EMPLOYMENT INTERVIEW
Selected candidates call for the final interview in which interviewer asked many type
of questions to judge the candidate for that job.
It consist of interaction between interviewer and applicant.
There are different types of interview :
 One to one interview.
 Panel interview.
 Telephonic Interview.
 Stress Interview.

sent for physical examination or medical examination.
After medical examination information is gathered for those
person whose name figure in the column of “reference”.
There information related to character, social relation, background,
etc, of the candidate. To obtain this information the may contact to
his friends or his past or present employers.
INDUCTION:-
Induction means introduction of a new employee to the job
and the organization. It is the process of receiving and
welcoming an employee when he first joins a company and
giving him the basic information he needs to settle down
quickly and happily and start work.
