Cyril Boggis is an antique furniture dealer who stops at a farmhouse and tricks the owners into selling him an incredibly rare and valuable 18th century commode for cheap by claiming he only needs the legs. After negotiating a low price by lying about his intentions, the gullible farmers cut off the legs and destroy the commode, not realizing its true value. Boggis takes the legs and leaves, laughing at how easily he fooled the naive farmers.

2. LET’S SUMMARIZE
Cyril Boggis, a superb dealer in antique furniture, nine years ago, he was
rounding with his car in the country, when suddenly his car overheated and
had to walk to a farmhouse to ask for a jug of water. There, was a special
armchair that called his attention and, finally, after some bargained, he
gained it, cheaper than it was. Then, he discovered the wealthiness of the
countryside and decided coming every Sunday. Nine years later, he went to
another farmhouse where three men were chatting. He stopped them and,
subsequently, he could enter the house, where he found an incredible
reproduction of the eighteenth-century, however, to get it, he had to cheat a
little. He told them it was very poor and that he only needed the legs,
therefore, after negotiating a price with the men, when he took his course to
his car, they wanted to give him the commodity of having it already the way
he wanted. Hence, they cut the legs and severed the commode to be
firewood...
