 The idea was to highlight the importance of participation and the positive impact sport
can have on an individual both physically and mentally.
 These weekly slots consisted of a mixture of sports and were attended by both sexes.
 By the end of the year there was amazing progress, considering the lack of
commitment to sport initially. This programme is still currently running.

 The main case I worked on was a merger between international oil companies and
their investment into Africa.
 Research was carried out on the background of each of the companies, looking at
their financial success. Alongside, which African countries they should invest into.
 I sat in on confidential meetings between the clients and the firm, which was good
insight into the importance of confidentiality.

 This inspirational charity was started with the intention of changing the lives of street
children who had been abandoned or made homeless through the political violence in
2008 in Kenya.
 It initially housed very few children in basic but functioning accommodation, the
organisation has now expanded to house over a hundred girls and boys.
 Alongside providing these children with a shelter there are councillors on site and
volunteers who aim to ultimately rehabilitate the children and give them life skills to
carry with them into the real world.
 Each holiday I spend time here working with children who have suffered from
unthinkable tumours. Time is spent with them in both an academic and relaxed
environment.
