Creating reuirement in DNG on a task assigned in RTC and Changing requirements in DNG using change set and delivering the change set to DNG stream using IBM CLM 6.0.6

Requirement Review and Change Set Delivery in DNG
About this task
We will be going through the process of updating requirements against a task
assigned, and submitting it for review. After successful review from the
reviewer we will be delivering the change.
Note: - We have enabled configuration management in DNG also we have a
change management constrains that changes can only be done in changes
set in stream.
Procedure
1) We have some requirement artifacts available in rm application. Now a
task has been assigned to the specific user to update the requirement.
We can see in the image above we have an artefact with id 1274 present
in rm.
2) A task has been assigned to the specific user in RTC to update the
requirement artefact in rm as shown in image below.

3) Task assigned shall be visible on the user’s dashboard in RTC as per the
widget selected to be displayed on dashboard.
4) User now has to start working on the updating of the requirement and
change the state of Workitem to in progress.

5) User will switch to the RM application and move to the specific artefact
in component. As per the change management constraint set use has to
create a change set to start working from the context menu.
Give meaningful name to the change set which describe the change done.

6) Update the requirement as per the task assigned under change set.
7) Now user has to link the change set to the work item. Post change selects
the option link to work item from the context menu.

8) Prompt for selecting the work item shall be displayed to the user where
he/she can select the work item to link the change set.

9) User can validate the linked change set with the work item in RTC.

10) User needs to add the review to the requirement artefact which has been
updated against the task assigned. Review can be added from the
approvals tab in task assigned. Provide a meaningful subject to the review
and add select the approver.
11) Reviewer shall be notified for the pending review on the dashboard of
reviewer against the widgets added on dashboard. Along with that mail
will also be received for the review request (mail server is integrated with
clm).

12) By clicking on the work item reviewer shall be directed to the work item
where in links reviewer can see the attached change set along with the
work item. By clicking on the change set user shall be directed to RM
application where he/she can see the changes made.
Changes made in artefact no 1274 can be seen in highlighted section
under change resource tab in change set. Artefact 1274 is the part of
module 1272 hence the change in artefact number 1272 can also be seen.

13) Now reviewer needs to approve the change done. (Multiple iterations of
comments and review can be done before final approval). For approving
the change set reviewer needs to go back to the specific work item in
RTC (ccm application) and from approvals tab can approve the review
assigned to them.
Note: - State of work item needs to be changed by the
individual/reviewer as per the current state. Say under review when
submitted for review. Approved/rejected as per the reviewer’s action
by reviewer.

14) Update on the review is visible to user on his/her dashboard also a link
in mail is also sent.
15) Now user can click on the attached change set in link section of work
item to navigate to change set in RM application. Where user can deliver
the change set to stream.

16) User needs to choose the option among available options.
Three options are available to user for delivering the change sets to the
stream.
a) Express: - All change sets will be delivered. You will not be shown
changes, but will be notified if there are any conflicts.
b) Standard: - All change sets will be delivered. Changes will be shown,
and you will manually resolve conflicts.
c) Custom: - Choose preview options and conflict resolution options.

17) On custom selection user will be able to see the changes and compare
them with the version available in stream.
18) On selecting deliver the changes will get merged with the stream
artifacts.
