of Management. Good Management Is the backbone of
successful organizations. Managing life means getting
things done to achieve’s life objectives and managing an
organization means getting things done with and through
other people to achieve’s It’s objectives.

A person who Organizes and Operates
business or businesses , Taking on greater
than normal financial risks in order to do so.

Planning
Organizing
Staffing
Directing
Controlling
WHAT IS PLANNING?
 Planning requires the entrepreneur to have
objectives that they set. They will determine in
advance, how the objectives will be seen to. In the
planning stages it is very important that goals are
outlined in a Clear and Concise manner so that the
rest of the team can follow, how the goals will be
met.
WHAT IS ORGANIZING?
Organizing is when the entrepreneur
delegates Certain functions to
employees, providing tasks and
allocating resources in order to help
reach the objectives that were devised
in the planning stage.
ORGANIZING HAVE A PROCESS
INVOLVES:
Identification of activities.
Classification of grouping of activities
Assignment of duties.
Delegation of authority and creation of
responsibility.
Coordinating authority and
responsibility relationships.
WHAT IS STAFFING?
 Staffing it is the function of manning the
organization structure and keeping it manned.
Staffing has assumed greater importance in the
recent years due to advancement of Technology,
increase in size of business, complexity of human
behavior etc. Tha main purpose of dragging is to
put right man on right job i. e. Square pegs in
square holes pegs in round holes. According to
KROOTZ & O’DONNELL, “MANAGERIAL
FUNCTION OF STAFFING INVOLVES MANNING
THE ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE THROUGH
PROPER AND EFFECTIVE SELECTION, APPRAISAL
& DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONNEL TO FILL THE
ROLES DESIGNED THE STRUCTURE”.””
STAFFING INVOLVES:
Manpower Planning( Estimating man
power in terms of searching, choose the
person and giving the right place).
Recruitment, Selection, & Placement.
Remuneration.
Performance Appraisal.
Promotions & Transfer.
WHAT IS DIRECTING?
DIRECTION HAS FOLLOWING
ELEMENTS:
 SUPERVISION — Implies overseeing the
work of sub ordinates by their superiors. It is
the act of Watching and Directing work and
workers.
 MOTIVATION—Means inspiring, stimulating
or encouraging the sub–ordinates with zeal
to work. Positive, Negative, Monetary, Non–
LEADERSHIP—May be defined as a
process by which manager guides and
influences the work of sub ordinates
indesired direction.
COMMUNICATIONS—Is the process of
passing Information, Experience,
Opinion etc. from one person to
another, it is a bridge of understanding.
WHAT IS
CONTROLLING?
Is a mechanism that will help the goals
be achieved. It means considering what
mechanisms can be established and then
implementary them towards reaching
those goals. In the Controlling stage the
entrepreneur has to know when they can
let the person go on their own to work
project and when it is time to reign

“Controlling is the measurement &
correction of performance
activities Of sub ordinates in order
to make sure that the enterprise
objectives and plan desired to
obtain them as being
accomplished”.
THEREFORE CONTROLLING
HAS FOLLOWING STEPS:
 Establishment of
standard
performance.
 Mesurement of actual
performance.
 Comparison of actual
performance with the
standards and finding
out deviation if any.
 Corrective Action.

LEADING, MOTIVATING, CO–
ORDINATION And more!

able to pass their vision on and motivate
their employees to see the same goals.
Leading will influence employees may
not be able to follow through on the
objectives.

 First of all it’s really hard to sign in an account, it so stressing until my
cousin help me out, and also I felt happy about that and also it was
really amazing doing a PowerPoint because it’s my first time to do that
and I feel happy and amazed so that I finally finish it. Next about this
topic in which is MANAGEMENT FUNCTION OF AN ENTREPRENEUR I
learn here is the definition of each functions which is POSDC that stand
for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling and also
there are Learning, motivating and co ordination whisch also part of
management functions and also I learn all the differences to each other
functions, and now I am really really glad that I read this, I learn this and
also thanks for our teacher in Entrep subject which is Sir. Emmard
Hermosura who guides us to learn this, Thank you so much sir! ,I learn

In the planning stages it is very important that goals are outlined in a Clear and Concise manner so that the rest of the team can follow, how the goals will be met.
  • 8. WHAT IS ORGANIZING? Organizing is when the entrepreneur delegates Certain functions to employees, providing tasks and allocating resources in order to help reach the objectives that were devised in the planning stage.
  • 9. ORGANIZING HAVE A PROCESS INVOLVES: Identification of activities. Classification of grouping of activities Assignment of duties. Delegation of authority and creation of responsibility. Coordinating authority and responsibility relationships.
  • 10. WHAT IS STAFFING?  Staffing it is the function of manning the organization structure and keeping it manned. Staffing has assumed greater importance in the recent years due to advancement of Technology, increase in size of business, complexity of human behavior etc. Tha main purpose of dragging is to put right man on right job i. e. Square pegs in square holes pegs in round holes. According to KROOTZ & O’DONNELL, “MANAGERIAL FUNCTION OF STAFFING INVOLVES MANNING THE ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE THROUGH PROPER AND EFFECTIVE SELECTION, APPRAISAL & DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONNEL TO FILL THE ROLES DESIGNED THE STRUCTURE”.””

  • 14. LEADERSHIP—May be defined as a process by which manager guides and influences the work of sub ordinates indesired direction. COMMUNICATIONS—Is the process of passing Information, Experience, Opinion etc. from one person to another, it is a bridge of understanding.
  • 15. WHAT IS CONTROLLING? Is a mechanism that will help the goals be achieved. It means considering what mechanisms can be established and then implementary them towards reaching those goals. In the Controlling stage the entrepreneur has to know when they can let the person go on their own to work project and when it is time to reign
