• PRs: Admissions Decline from 42,205 in June to 40,630 in July. July year-over-year change (change from 2021 in parentheses): Economic - PNP -14.8%
(30.8%), Economic - Federal -11.6% (-30.9%), Family -4.7% (30.6%), Refugees 14.4% (81.8%)
• Applications: Given time delays in entering application data, am using a six month time lag. From 56,501 in December (time delays greater) to 35,572 in January. January year-over-year change (change from 2020): 4.9% (-5.6%).
• Express Entry and Arrima Invitations to Apply: Increase from 9,984 (1,384 Arrima) in August to 10,751 in September. September year-over-year change (change from 2020): 16.7% (9,984 (116.4%)
• Web “Immigrate to Canada”: Decrease from 426,233 in August (outside Canada) to 332,817 in September. September year-over-year change (change from 2021): -17.3% (-27.7%)
• TR to PRs transition (i.e., those already in Canada): Small decrease from 20,390 in June (some double counting) to 19,985 in July (49 percent of all PRs). July year-over-year change (change from 2020): 19.9% (-31.5%)
