• PRs: Admissions Increase from 35,620 in January to 37,130 in February. February Year-over-year change (change from 2020 in parentheses): Economic 69.5% (51.3%),
Family 49.0% (12.5%), Refugees 33.5% (49.1%)


• Applications: Decrease from 6,109 in January to 4,182 in February. February year-over-year change (change from 2020): -90.1% (-86.1%). Note: Given delays in entering applications in processing systems, the last few months understate the number of applications


• Express Entry and Arrima Invitations to Apply: From 2,981 in February to 3,396 in March. March year-over-year change (change from 2020): -46.5% (-56.5%)


• Web “Immigrate to Canada”: Increase from 352,393 in February (outside Canada) to 420,017 in March. March year-over-year change (change from 2020): 16.5% (40.6%)


• Provincial Nominee Program: Increase from 4,185 in January to 6,120 in February. February year-over-year change (change from 2020): 34.1% (26.6%)


• TR to PRs transition (i.e., those already in Canada): Decline from 25,695 in Januaryr (some double counting) to 22,185 in February. February year-over-year change (change from 2020): 89.9% (160.8%)


• Temporary Residents:


• TRs/IMP: Decrease from 24,935 in January to 22,165 in February. February year-over-year (change from 2020): Agreements: -23.1% (-17.0%), Canadian Interests: -29.3% (21.9%), Other IMP Participants -76.9% (1,522.2%), Not stated 94.7% (-35.8%)


• TRs/TFWP: Stable, from 7,285 in January to 7,235 in February. February year-over-year change (change from 2020): Caregivers -66.2% (-19.6%), Agriculture -9.6% (22.8%) and Other LMIA -27.8% (-11.2%).


• Web “Get a work permit”: Stable from 77,622 in February (outside Canada) to 79,971 in March. March year-over-year change (change from 2020): 27.2% (33.2%)

• Irregular arrivals (Roxham Road etc) decreased from 2,382 in January to 2,164 in February. February year-over-year change (change from 2020): 5,310.0% (120.8%)


• Settlement Services (December 2020 - awaiting more recent): Decline from 48,700 in November to 42,890 in December. December year-over-year (change from 2020):
21.6% (-17.1%)


• Web “Find immigrant services near you”: Further decrease from 7,588 in February (outside Canada) to 4,345 in March. March year-over-year change (change from 2020): -54.3% (-42.2%). In Canada: -70.3% (-1.1%)


• Citizenship: Increase from 22,504 in January to 30,195 in February. February year-over-year change (change from 2020): 731.6% (13.0%)


• Applications (awaiting more recent): From 19,005 in May to 18,189 in June. June year-over-year change (change from 2020): 21.6% (-11.7%)


• “Apply for citizenship”: Stable, from 17,045 in February (outside Canada) to 17,583 in March. March year-over-year change (change from 2020): -14.0% (-23.4%). In Canada: 1.0% (50.8%)
