• PRs: Admissions Decrease from 33,565 in October to 29,420 in November. November year-over-year change (change from 2021 in parentheses): Economic - PNP
-1.7% (3.8%), Economic - Federal 9.1% (-64.6%), Family 20.8% (-30.9%), Refugees 8.3% (12.0%)
• Applications: Given time delays in entering application data, am using a six month time lag. Increase from 36,070 in April (time delays greater) to 47,246 in May. May year-over-year change (change from 2020): 99.4% (-62.2%).
• Express Entry and Arrima Invitations to Apply: Increase from 1,210 in November (all Arrima) to 10,157 in December (1,187 Arrima). December year-over-year change (change from 2020): 389.0% (382.7%)
• Web “Immigrate to Canada”: Stable from 263,419 in November (outside Canada) to 260,299 in December. December year-over-year change (change from 2021): -38.8% (-23.6%)
• TR to PRs transition (i.e., those already in Canada): Decrease from 12,990 in October (some double counting) to 10,520 (36 percent of all PRs). November year-over-year change (change from 2020): 170.4% (-71.8%)
• Temporary Residents:
