Outcome: the outcome of this take is to open up the music video- bedroom shots help
establish the mood of the star at the moment. I want to make the star appear lonely, as
though she is missing someone. We will see close ups of the stars face to make us feel a
greater attachment towards her, and also a high angle shot to portray the star as a
emotionally vulnerable young woman. We will also see close up shots of sentimental
objects like gifts, photos, etc; this will give the audience an idea of what is going on.
3. Scene 2- street shot

Black outfit- top and
jeans with wedged
trainers. Light
makeup, not too
heavy because I want
this video to appeal
to youth and I want
her presentation to
be fresh faced twenty
year old.
Walk down the
street whilst
singing
In this shot I want to represent my star as a independent, fresh faced young R&B singer
that sticks to her word. The street shots make the footage appear visually attractive due
to the colours, this also follows the codes and conventions of the genre. The grittiness of
the shots can also present my star as a tough lady, because they go against the
expectations of femininity.
4. Scene 3- Café shot
Here, the star will have her argument with her lover and will leave him. The
location will follow typical break up music video locations as public places like
these make it recognizable for the audience to guess what is going on.

The purpose of this shot is to help establish the star as a person that shows keen interest
in her work; this also appeals to fans because they get to see the behind the scenes of
song writing.
