3. PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN
-A UNIQUE SELLING POINT OF OUR FILM IS THAT IT IS FROM THE VILLAIN'S POINT OF
VIEW DESPITE IT NORMALLY BEING FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE HERO. IN
ADDITION TO THIS,OUR VILLAIN IS A FEMALE WHEN IT TENDS TO BE A MALE.
-WE ARE GOING TO EMPHASIZE THE COLOR RED DURING OUR TEASER TRAILER AS IT
WILL BE SEEN MANY TIMES:THE PILL, THE MAIN CHARACTER WEARING RED LIPSTICK AND
THE RED STRING ON THE PIN BOARD.
-WE WOULD LIKE THE COLOR RED TO BE EMPHASIZED AS IT REPRESENTS DANGER AND
LOVE.CONCERNING CHARACTER REPRESENTATION, WE WILL EXAGGERATE THE CONCEPT
OF THE FEMALE PROTAGONIST CHALLENGING THE STEREOTYPES IN FILMS OF WOMEN
BEING WEAK AND IN NEED OF SAVING.
5. IDEA FOR MAGAZINE
For our magazine cover we have decided to stick with
black and white theme with the pill being the only thing
in colour.It is going to feature the male antagonist with a
pill on his tongue. The pills going to be red which
symbolizes love and danger
6. IDEA FOR POSTER
Our poster is going to feature an over the shoulder
shot of our protagonist( Layla) looking at a pin-
board that has the antagonist(Tom)on there. This is
going to look like an evidence board- and Tom is
the main feature of the"investigation". To correspond
with the title and color of our theme, we are going
to put the string that connects tom to the plot,in
red. Not only does the red represent danger,but also
shows the addiction and the theme of love. The rest
of the poster will be in black and white, which will
make it stand out more.
This would create a visual effect to our audience as it
will leave them wondering what Layla is intending to
do and hopefully prompt them to watch our film.
