started to use writing. This
was the origin of empires.
The first written text were
on stones, with pictures of
objects. Two big cultures
started in Mesopotamia
and Egypt.

started to elaborate objects of
metal using fire. We distinguish
three stages:
Copper age
Bronze age. Bronze was hard.
They used it to make weapons.
Iron age. It was harder than
bronze.

Andalusia started with
the introduction of
tartessos and Greeks.
They came to Almeria
and Malaga. In the
metal age there are two
cultures, Millares and
Argar.
