Oliver Twist; or, the Parish Boy's Progress is Charles Dickens's second novel, and was first published as a serial from 1837 to 1839. The story centres on orphan Oliver Twist, born in a workhouse and sold into apprenticeship with an undertaker.
2. Charles dickens was born in 1812 in Portsmouth, England. He
enjoyed his early childhood until his family moved to London in
1823, his family didn’t have enough money so at the age of 12
Twelve Charles Dickens had to work with other child workers.
Charles also worked as a Lawyer’s clerk

Jack Dawkins is a first Person whom which oliver meets while going to London. He was cunning & thief

Fagin is head of thieves who trains children thief. When he
meets Oliver. He wants Oliver to be a thief.
8. He is a rich and a kind person. He wants to look after Oliver Twist

She is theif too, she is the lover of Bill Sikes who is a very cruel
person but she is some extent kind to Oliver Twist
10. Oliver Twist is the story of a young orphan, Oliver, and his
attempts to
stay good in a society that refuses to help. Oliver is born in
a workhouse, to a mother not known to anyone in the
town.
She dies right after giving birth to him, and he is sent to
the parochial orphanage, where he and the other orphans
are treated terribly and fed very little.
11. When he turns nine, he is sent to the workhouse, where again he
and the others are treated badly and practically starved. The
other boys, unable to stand their hunger any longer, decide to
draw straws to choose who will have to go up and ask for more
food.
12. Oliver loses. On the appointed day, after finishing his
first serving of gruel, he goes up and asks for more. Mr.
Bumble, the beadle, and the board are outraged, and decide
they must get rid of Oliver, apprenticing him to the
parochial undertaker, Mr. Sowerberry. It is not great there
either, and after an attack on his mother’s memory, Oliver
runs away.
