Vision Trak’s GPS capability captures and reports:
1. Exception Geofencing: log of all triggered “Zone” Exceptions relating to Vehicles
that have entered and exited any of the pre-determined geo-fence (zones) areas as
they have occurred.
2. Location Data: location and time of the selected Vehicle, as per all the logged pings
3. Monthly Distance: daily approximate total distance travelled, of the selected
Vehicle, as occurred
4. Replay: graphically report on the route
taken by the Vehicle,

1. Ignition ON/ OFF: log of all triggered “Ignition On” exceptions relating to Vehicles that
remained Idle for a pre determined period as they have occurred
2. Virtual trips: data beyond “standard report” where delivery duration and locations are shown
even if the engine is left on
3. Overspeed: log of all triggered “Overspeed” exceptions relating to Vehicles that have gone
over a pre determined speed as they have occurred
4. Idling Time: log of all triggered “Idling Time”
exceptions relating to Vehicles that have
remained Idle for a pre-determined period

In HK, drivers are prohibited from permitting any internal combustion engine (“ICE”) more than
three minutes while the vehicle is stationary (“idling prohibition”). Drivers who breach this
prohibition are issued with a Penalty Notice and fixed penalty of HK$320*.
Vision Trak reports on idling events to reduce these occurrences and drive fuel cost savings.

The MOST COMMON way to record temperatures is by drivers taking a physical reading twice a
day. This process is flawed as drivers get busy and are evaluated by the number of deliveries
achieved per Day / Hour.
Therefore, there are constant disputes between Clients / Distributors / Management / Drivers
over the actual Temperatures with the added pressure of maintaining correct data for HACCP or
Quality assurance bodies.

Vision Trak safeguards vehicle drivers by installing duress buttons as well as the monitoring
of breaks, in order to facilitate fatigue management
Duress Button
As part of the asset tracking solution, Vision Trak installs a duress button and two-way communications
system in each vehicle for OH&S so that drivers can alert the company and receive assistance where any
threat to persons or property exists.
● Duress button is connected to the Vision Trak company monitoring webpage.
● Notification sent to managers with driver’s location and timestamp of event, we also capture the IP
address and the login details to determine which user and computer used to view / action the event
● Also open up an independent phone line for both voice in and out, requiring independent microphone
and speaker installation.
Fatigue Management
Driver fatigue or drowsy driving is a safety hazard for the vehicle drivers and as part of regulation.
Vision Trak measures the duration of each trip and can therefore provide managers with insight on the
number and duration of breaks taken to facilitate proper fatigue management.

GSM MODULE
On some journeys, trucks can be out of GSM contact for up to 40% of the time,
often resulting in the loss of critical data during the outage period.
A GSM module is embedded into each hardware, making Vision Trak one of few asset
tracking solutions that transmits transportation data in real time via GSM mobile
communications for immediate and constant business analysis.
In the event of loss of GSM, the Store & Forward function allows for up to 1 MILLION pings
Then when vehicle comes back into GSM area data is uploaded. However, the solution itself
includes an omnidirectional antenna. Compared to a standard single directional antenna,
Vision Trak’s antenna improves GSM signal and is 30% more reliable in transmitting data.
