2. What is Vehicle Tracking Services? The tracking device that is installed in your vehicle (1,5) collects GPS longitude/latitude locations. It then transmits this information via satellite or a cellular network (2,6), which in turn delivers the data to the TrackYourTruck-hosted application (3). The location data is then translated into user-friendly information that can be accessed by any computer with a connection to the Internet (4). Vehicle Tracking Services is the transfer of a vehicle’s location through a communication network to a data collection site. When put in the right hands, this data becomes information that improves your value to the customer by enhancing the level of service provided. More information also leads to higher profits through better fleet management.

18. Intelli-Status – Real-Time Status Real-Time Truck Status indicates arrival and/or departure from any user-defined location (Intelli-Status Points). These are locations that are important to your company’s operation: company offices, customers, vendors, yards, terminals, job sites, employee homes. 19. Intelli-Status Configuration Intelli-Status Points are easy to configure. Simply name the Point, enter the address, and click on “Locate”. The software will verify the address and designate a longitude and latitude. The Point can be viewed on a map and easily adjusted for more accurate tracking of vehicle arrivals and departures.

21. GPS Detail Report GPS Detail Report displays each individual GPS update for an individual truck during any defined time frame. Data offered with this report are: Date & Time Estimated Speed Directional Heading Longitude & Latitude Address
22. Map Replay Map Replay illustrates a vehicle’s route for a selected period of time. Icons represent each GPS location during select time period. Click on a GPS icon and a legend box with sequence number, time, speed & direction, and street location will display. Animated playback feature allows for Play, Pause, Reverse, and Forward capabilities.

24. Miles by State Report The Miles by State Report presents miles driven each day by state for a select time period for individual vehicles or the entire fleet.
25. Online Reports – Preventative Maintenance Service The Preventative Maintenance Service report provides tracking of service intervals for each vehicle. TYT automatically calculates the engine hours and vehicle miles to eliminate the need to physically check the vehicle for necessary preventative maintenance. 26. Online Reports – Point Activity & Web Activity The Point Activity will display a single or several pre-defined locations and the activity associated with each one. TrackYourTruck will display the point name, the date & time of arrival or departure, the truck identifier, the event (Arrive or Leave), and the time spent at that particular point. The Web Activity report provides information on who has logged onto the TrackYourTruck software and includes the date and time the user’s session began and ended and the total time the user was logged on. 27. Print and/or Export Capability All reports can be exported to a variety of popular formats for information retention or inclusion into other applications. Supported formats include Microsoft Excel, text, and Crystal Report formats. GPS Detail report exported to Excel formatted file.
28. Automatic Email Alerts & Scheduled Reports Automatic Email Alerts can be set up to be sent when a pre-defined parameter has been met. Scheduled Reports are Truck Activity Reports that are sent to specified email alerts daily or weekly. Any alerts or scheduled reports created in Options will produce email to select recipients when the set parameter is met.

Other Services Vendor Interface TrackYourTruck allows customers with special requirements to batch download and/or real-time download all VTS information directly to a third-party or customer-specific application.
