This document discusses the different types of paragraphs. It identifies 8 types: narrative-chronological, descriptive, expositive-explicative, persuasive, argumentative, comparative, deductive, and inductive. For each type, it provides a brief definition of the purpose or structure. For example, it states that a narrative-chronological paragraph tells a real or imaginary event in chronological order, while an expositive paragraph explains information in an objective, ordered way using references. It concludes by listing three references used.
