Review residential appraisals that have been submitted by field appraisers
nationwide. Work closely with Appraisal Underwriters Research residential
property appraisals in accordance with USPAP, Dodd Frank, FNMA, Freddy Mac
and Air guidelines. Provide written responses to reconcile value discrepancies
between original appraisal and other valuation reports. Advise compliance staff of
any suspected misrepresentation or fraud.
APPRAISER REVIEWER – CLASS APPRAISALS, TROY, MI
11/2011 – 07/2013
Initiate, oversee and resolve major disputes between the appraisal report and the
client expectation of the report. Determine if the rebuttal request meets the
guidelines for a rebuttal. Determine if the data supplied by the client is appropriate
and relevant for the appraiser to consider. Filter the non-sale comparable data
before sending to the appraiser to insure the appraiser only receives relevant data

for consideration. Notify the appraiser of any revisions. Update the client by phone
and/or email with the final rebuttal results

Review claim reports, contact claimant to set inspection, inspect property to
ascertain damage, report damages in the form of report and photos. Report
percentage or work completed in order for claimant to receive compensation for
